I loved how we got to see more of his soft side in this book. He really does care for his Clanmates, and I felt so bad for him when Briarlight died. I also like how we got more insight on what he really thinks of Alderheart, and I hope we get to see more of this in the next book.

Also, him and Fuzzball are just great together! Any scene with them is great, and is arguably the best part of this book.

It's been quite a few years since I found myself enjoying Jayfeather in scenes! So his character was a delight in ROF and seeing his soft side and helping Alderheart, who comforted him in return and was sassy when introducing Fuzzball, was lovely. I actually laughed at Jayfeather's lines, unlike previous books, where his "jokes" were just plain cruel or mean.

I'm so excited to get the book! I always love Jayfeather scenes, but especially love when he shows his kind side. I like when he is lightly annoyed too, and teases a bit. Can't wait for the Jayfeather and Fuzzball interaction!
