She's just telling cats off for Clan hopping and stating her own political views. I don't get what's wrong with it. It's also about time someone told Twigbranch off. Like, seriously.

She's one of my favorite characters. When Kate dropped TAQ allegiances and I saw she was a "spitting image of Firestar" I didn't want her to be and was glad we got Alderheart instead. Now I kind of wish we had Sparkpelt...she's really interesting.

I agree. She is a good character and Twigbranch needs to be told off, but I also think that Twigbranch is in the same boat. People really are incredibly hard on both of them and I personally think neither deserve it.

Sparkpelt is racist, but I still like her.

Twigbranch got away with very little in RoF, so that's good. Though, I think people are harder on Twigbranch than Sparkpelt. People like Sparkpelt for being open about her views on things.

I didn't like her very much in The Apprentice's Quest and I don't recall her in Thunder and Shadow besides her getting her warrior name, nor her in Shattered Sky. Darkest Night and River of Fire have definitely caught my attention concerning her, and I enjoy her character now. She's very no nonsense, and I love that she has no problems disagreeing with Alderheart, because we often saw other siblings sort of...quick to soothe the other littermate? Kind of -- excluding Hollyleaf warning Lionblaze about Heathertail. But Sparkpelt says what's on her mind, even if it collides with what Alderheart wants/thinks. She and Twigbranch made a good mentor-apprentice pair. I wish we had had more interactions with her giving her tough love, since there wasn't much of it beyond two scenes. Sparkpelt was definitely who Twigbranch needed to put her in her place.
