I'll probably update this post to include mine later, but what would your version of DotC look like, or how did you think the Clans were founded before we got the official story?

I imagined it kinda like in the Enter the Clans, but with some differences. Most of it was me filling the vague areas of that story in with my own ideas.
Cats lived as rogues until one winter where there was no prey, and the cats ended up fighting over it. Gangs started to form, and after a great battle between most of them, Starclan confronted them and told them to unite or die.
The most dominant leaders of the gangs rose up and fought for a leadership position, (Those being Shadow, Thunder, River, and Wind. I guess you can add Sky in now because Skyclan.) and they ended up in a tie.
When the fighting continued, Starclan got tired of yelling at them and just told them to make five clans.
