No, no you are not. I honestly would hate for them to get together. I want Alderheart to actually follow the medicine cat code. I don't like them together. I hope he actually listens to the advice Jayfeather and Cinderpelt gave him.

No, you're not, but I don't think it's likely. Velvet was just filler for Alderheart's POVs; she changed literally nothing in the plot of the book, the arc, or Alderheart personally. We don't need another Jessy.

I cringed so much reading the scenes. I mean, not even just the romance, but how she inserted herself...? Like, it was the sort of, "Oh, no. Jessy 2.0. Please have mercy." Gahhh. I really hope he does listen to Jayfeather and Cinderpelt. I'm halfway expecting him not to, though, and that his kits may have something to do with the next series.

I haven't read VoS but I can say, I feel like they aren't going to do another forbidden medicine cat romance. I think this might be an attempt at making Alderheart seem less two-dimensional. I read the first book, and Alderheart was very well written in my opinion, but I have heard he becomes bland in later books. If that's the case, I feel like the author is trying to make him seem less bland? I guess I don't really know, but I just feel like they aren't gonna do another medicine cat romance.

I hope not. As much as Velvet seems like a cute character, I felt like she was also Jessie-edque in the fact that she somehow knew a lot about herbs to appeal to Alderheart.
Honestly, at this point we should just throw out the medicine cats can’t have kits law. Its dumb and the logic makes no sense. Leafpool proved she could care for all of the clan equally even with kits.
