People complain about warriors being unrealistic but it really all depends on suspension of disbelief. Why does no one seem to understand that?
So no you can't do anything you want because there's a little thing called tone. But just because something not 100% realistic doesn't mean it can't be done in fiction.
And the next time someone tells me I can't use a prefix or suffix because it's not canon I'll punch them in the face. I'm sorry but that's just ludicrous to me.

Wait so someone got mad at you just because you used a prefix or suffix that wasn’t in the book?

and it wasn't a weird word either. one was cotton (because wild cotton exists). the other was -snap as a suffix.

Kinda dumb for folks to complain about that because newsflash folks, new prefixes and suffixes are being made constantly in the Warriors universe if canon is anything to go by. Whether it be traditional or non.
Cotton- is a fine prefix (Kinda cute too, I can imagine something like a fluffy white cat having that), that shouldn't be one that folks would complain about because, depending on the location I think, it can be found in the wild.
And Warriors was never really realistic even from series one, to complain about any lack of realism is kinda pointless as is.

Cotton is fine? That literally exists in their world because like Brindlefern said, wild cotton exists. And what's wrong with snap? For Starclan's sake, there's Snapkit ! What was the name anyway?

We have Snapkit now, so tell you friend -snap is now technically canon. And I wouldn't be surprised if wild cotton grows on the moor.

Tas luckily not my friend. I have a feeling they might have been quite young. or else just learned about mary sues and trying too hard to avoid them. I see a lot of people like that and they're characters are very bland.
