As a whole, no, it's not my favorite arc. It's terribly uneven and tries to add in too many things at once. The Apprentice's Quest is arguably the best book of the arc because of it's solidity, albeit, the second book is my personal favorite.
I hope The Broken Code is more consistent.

My favorite was Shattered Sky. Second favorite was Thunder and Shadow.
I agree, this arc has been very inconsistent. I hope they have an endgame figured out for The Broken Code before hand.

To be honest...it's better than Omen Of The Stars. But it's still not my favorite arc; that would be the original arc.

This arc is just so inconsistent, but at least it's better than OotS.

I really liked 1, 3, and 4; 2 was okay; and 5 was a drag. Honestly, there's just not been a real threat since Darktail died, and that's dragging it down. It showed especially in River of Fire. I'll put it above PoT and OotS, but the last book will really need to wow me for it to have any hopes of rising further.

The first four books were fine to me, but the last two were pretty weak save for the last few chapters of PoS. Not helped that Slash was a weak final villain for that arc.

It isn't the worst series, but it isn't the best either. The first three books were the best, and then from there the rest of the books feel underwhelming.

The first half of this arc was great but books 4 and 5 not so much imo. It's still not worst though. While Dotc is my favorite the last two books were not as good as the first four, the quality of TNP was all over the place to me and OOTS was just a mess.

I was in love with the arc for the first four books. River of Fire has shattered my image of it somewhat. Book 6 is going to need to be really, really good if it hopes to salvage the series' reputation.
The Apprentice's Quest is by far the best book in the arc for its amazing cohesion of character and plot. After that, books 2, 3, and 4 all are somewhat equal in my eyes, as they all have different virtues and flaws. Shattered Sky has a thrilling plot, but very little character growth. Darkest Night is the exact opposite. Thunder and Shadow has a blend of the two, but not on the same level as the first book.

Fernstep Yep. Unfortunately, The Raging Storm is just gonna be Twigbranch and Violetshine vs. Sleekwhisker or something

I don't like it. The characters are flat as cardboard and going by the spoilers I've read, the plot seems all over the place. It also has Lion/Cinder and Dove/Tiger reproducing, which are two couples I hate.

River of Fire is the worst book of the arc. As Fernstep said above, the first four books were much better.
