Has anyone else noticed the ridiculous amount of litter of threes in recent times? When was the last time someone has a litter of 2 or even 1? Surely, if they'd just stop making every litter have 3, then maybe we wouldn't have such a bloated cast. And it's by far the worst in the Vision of Shadows: Some examples - Spoilers for River of Fire/Tigerheart's Shadow. Ivypool - Bristlekit, Flipkit, Thriftkti.
Dovewing - Shadowkit, Pouncekit, Lightkit.
Cinderheart - Spotkit, Flykit, Snapkit. (Seriously, they already have 3. They don't need 6 children, don't make them the new Dustpelt and Ferncloud please.) Missing Riverclan Apprentices: There's was also two Riverclan apprentices who appeared in Thunder and Shadow- Never to seen or heard from again. What, did they turn into air? Let's see: Wavepaw and Cypresspaw, anyone? |

Litters of three aren't unusual, but there are just so many of them right now. ThunderClan and ShadowClan are going to be enormous once these kits all become warriors.

For real cats, a litter of 3 is actually quite small. Usually being around 4-8 instead. Rarely reaching 12+. However, in Warriors, we've never seen a litter extend 4 cats. So in the warriors' world, a litter of 3 is actually on the larger side, especially when she-cat will often have a 2nd litter. And as you can tell, those quickly build up, until we get the result we have today, with Thunderclan having 40+ members now, when it use to have less then 20. |

Yeah, I was thinking this awhile ago and wrote in the spoiler thread: I think someone corrected me on PineSpike, so I put them down as 4. I don't understand why there are so many big litters, either...it's weird. God, it's worse then I thought. What are the Editors thinking? |

There are 48 cats in ThunderClan right now, and we can expect Splark kits as well.

So far, Princess had the biggest litter. She had five kits, with Cloudtail begin the firstborn.

Good lordy loo if they're gonna have that many cats in one clan, any sane person would think it'd be a good idea to kill some off in a mass epidemic or something but N O PE.

Oh no, the authors couldn't bear to have an epidemic in ThunderClan, because every single cat there is one of their favorite characters, and they couldn't bear to see them die! Even cats like Sorrelstripe must live- cats who only had five lines throughout the series.
