So I was reading River of Fire and I got to a part I had to reread a few times:
“Cinderheart, who was curled up nearby with her own kits...It must be sweet, Alderheart thought, to get to spend time with her kit’s kits at the same time she tends her own.”
Uhhh...that’s...that’s incorrect, but I appreciate trying to evoke heartwarming feelings from us lol

Is it talking about how she is nursing her own litter of kits while Fernsong- her grown-up son- is also tending to his? Which would be her grandkits?
If so, that would make sense.

Okay, that makes more sense. I forgot Fernsong was her son.
