Sol. If someone wants to get into it with me, I will. Don't feel like typing it all out again, though, if it isn't necessary.

SNowtuft since he doesn't get the recognition I want him to. Hawkfrost is right behind him though as my favorite character only because he is literally the only reason I could handle Brambleclaw when he was alive. Now I hate Bramblestar and will never forgive him for killing Hawkfrost. Mapleshade is up there for being legitimately the only female villain.

I'm gonna go with Tigerstar (not the "Cat Jesus" Tigerstar, I mean the OG Tigerstar). He was basically the first actual Warriors villain, and that seems kind of nostalgic to me. Though I wish he had come up with all he did in Tigerclaw's Fury on his own instead of having Mapleshade try high-jacking the plot.

I counted up four different Dark Forest female cats Bee, One Eye, Mapleshade, and Sparrowfeather. THAT MAKES OUT OF ALL OF THEM ONE GOOD FEMALE VILLAIN! The only good one Mapleshade!!!

I'm between Hawkfrost and Tigerstar. I'm pretending Mapleshade's influence in Tigerclaw's Fury was never real or canon, and all those thoughts were his own thoughts, with the only influence on him being Thistleclaw's mentoring. He was a fantastic villain, and Scourge robbed us off that Fire vs Tiger battle in The Darkest Hour, and I'm still disappointed over it. (Imagine if arc 2 had been Scourge and BloodClan invading the forest, then arc 3 had been TNP)
Hawkfrost was just as manipulative and gave us that grounded antagonist in that... he was actually alive. Seeing him rise up was great, and he was a great opposite to Brambleclaw. I would have loved for TNP to have focused on him some more as a villain, by showing his manipulative side some more - a novella about Hawkfrost's rise in RiverClan (up to becoming deputy the first time, or a flash through his life to those parts we don't get to see) would have been so brilliant (if handled properly). I also like envisioning his relationship with both Tigerstar and Darkstripe, or perhaps even Brokenstar - he managed to persuade ShadowClan warriors to assist him and Mudclaw, after all.

Sol. Minus his hideous backstory.
It was awesome to see a villain who didn’t need to slice his way to power. All he had to do was target the lifeblood of the clans: StarClan. If he could destroy ShadowClan’s social system and gain control of everyone in a book, he could have taken over every clan in a series. He was creepy, manipulative, and a generally really interesting villain.

I'd say Snowtuft if he had an acutal backstory, but I like him generally and kinda hoped they would've used him more. So then that leaves Mapleshade, the cool only female villain in Warriors. I think that she was very deceptive and cruel, which stands out for me, and although Sol is like that, her being alive a long time ago makes it better. Back then, cats actually cared about the code, so giving her a legit punishment was good for her evil character. I just truly like her and her motives, since she killed those cats because of her kits, not because of power or envy.

While I am not a huge fan of his backstory, I really like Darktail. Not only was he strong, but he was utterly brutal and cunning. He really felt like a threat. I am also a fan of the original Tigerstar, because he was all of these things as well. But that was only in the first series. I wasn't a fan of Tigerstar after TNP and his novella was just.... urhg.

Sol is oh god so good in Eclipse and Sunrise. His scenes in Long Shadows and The Forgotten Warrior leave something to be desired, but I still think his aura of mystery and his compelling nature make him more interesting than Warriors's other great villains, like Tigerstar and Darktail.
