Moth's Analyses [CLOSED] UPDATE!

Ever since she was a kit,Twigbranch has usually been caring and optimistic, but sometimes it leads her to get into trouble.

When Alderpaw and Needlepaw find her and her sister, abandoned, they take the kits with them—Needlepaw names Violetkit for her scent, while Alderpaw names Twigkit for her size. When the time came for the Gathering, it was Mistystar who suggested that ThunderClan and ShadowClan split up the kits. After ShadowClan takes Violetkit, Alderpaw vows to make sure Twigkit has a good life after worrying that Violetkit will be just as lonely as Needlepaw. Alderpaw proves to keep his promise, as she's often in the medicine den with him when she was a kit. During her time in ShadowClan, this later proved to be useful, as she uses this skill to help Puddleshine.

Twigbranch becomes a PoV character from TAS onwards, and it's revealed that ThunderClan has been gossiping about her. This as well as the fear that they'll throw her out is what makes her want to prove to the Clan that she's indeed special, but she eventually gets over it.

Twigpaw is also shown to have a very sensitive side when it comes to her family, and doesn't seem fond of secrets, either. This feeling of betrayal came to the point where Twigpaw wanted to see her sister about it, but the more times they meet each other, the more strained their relationship becomes. Yet Twigpaw still continues to care for her sister. Even in the middle of battle, Twigpaw stops fighting when she sees Violetpaw, and feels betrayed when her sister attacks her. Learning that she had kin besides Violetpaw however cheered her up a bit, but no one else shares her excitement. So she decides to run away and find SkyClan on her own. While on her journey, Twigpaw struggled, but managed, until she was hit by a monster. She was cared for by the Twolegs that hit her, but she eventually escaped. However, she also began to lose hope due to thinking it was too late to find SkyClan, but she soon overcame this. Eventually, she found SkyClan as well as her father, Hawkwing.

Later on, Twigpaw found ThunderClan again, and reunited with Alderheart. And despite her initial anger towards Violetpaw, Twigpaw still worried for her when she learns something had happened to her. After they reunite, there's no hesitation in making amends.

When the Clans are getting ready to attack, she chooses to sit beside Hawkwing, but but when he seems to think of her as a SkyClan cat, Twigpaw isn't so sure about it, and her uncertainty is brought up again after the battle. However, though SkyClan helped defeat the Kin, some cats don't want them around, and Cherryfall even points out that the only reason they were found was because Twigpaw wanted to find her father. This makes her feel guilty. Once again, she grows uncertain, but this time it's because she isn't sure whether ThunderClan is really her home. Eventually, she chooses to go to SkyClan.

As Twigpaw is spending time with Hawkwing and Violetpaw, she asks Hawkwing to tell them about her mother, Pebbleshine. During the story, Violetpaw notices that Hawkwing appears to be getting sad, but Twigpaw wants to hear more.

When Finpaw was in trouble, Twigpaw decided to fetch Puddleshine; Finpaw lives, but loses part of his tail, so she tries to cheer him up, and their relationship only continues to grow.

As as her SkyClan training goes however, she has trouble paying attention to her mentor, Sandynose, and once again shows resentment to still being an apprentice and getting lost in her thoughts.

Throughout her stay in SkyClan, she constantly misses ThunderClan and even apologizes to Ivypool for leaving, but she tries to convince herself to live with her decision despite this until she finally decides to go back to ThunderClan after interrupting her own warrior ceremony.

After leaving SkyClan with Finpaw, the two cats encounter Sparkpelt, who isn't too quick to welcome Twigpaw back to ThunderClan. The same goes when she got to ThunderClan's camp until Alderheart defended her. She was also upset at having to continue her training and getting Sparkpelt for her new mentor, but decided to put up with it. This happens again when she has to go through another apprentice ceremony. And as we see later on, her relationship with Sparkpelt doesn't gotten any better until Twigpaw is about to do her assessment.

Not long after training, she gets the idea of hunting for ThunderClan in hopes of getting her warrior name. However, she got herself in trouble when she accidentally crossed the border into WindClan. Featherpelt didn't blame her, but still showed concerned that she could've gotten into even worse trouble; Twigpaw thought she was just overreacting.

Later, she followed the medicine cats to the Moonpool to see if there was anything she could do to help with the prophecy. She a vision of a camp catching fire when she touched the Moonpool, and saw Yellowfang, who told her that she didn't belong there. Twigpaw thinks she means either not belonging at the Moonpool or ThunderClan, but she gets determined not to believe the latter.

Later, she decided to go talk to Violetshine about ShadowClan. When she finally does, Twigpaw was upset that her sister wasn't too happy to see her. Still, the two put aside their differences and agreed to try and make Tawnypelt the new leader of a revived ShadowClan, but Puddleshine wanted to wait for a sign first.

Later on, RiverClan's camp catches fire, Twigpaw is one of the cats to go to said Clan and gets annoyed with Gorsetail when the latter believes that RiverClan wouldn't want help because their borders were closed. While there, Twigpaw rescues Softpaw.

Throughout RoF, not only has Twigpaw been resentful at still being an apprentice, but envious as well, such as when Finpaw's siblings became warriors before her, but she eventually gets over this. Later, during her assessment, she and Finpaw work together at one point, and then she finally becomes a warrior at long last, earning the name Twigbranch.

Overall, Twigbranch is a very caring cat. Indecisive as well as a little stubborn and naive yes, but she's still a very determined cat who will do whatever it takes to accomplish something no matter the consequences, and her heart is always in the right place.
