Anyone who likes the idea of SAO but not the anime itself should give Log Horizon a try, it's 10000x times better

Yeah, Log Horizon is similar (but at the same time not) and everything about it is just a LOT better. SAO was a nice idea but it was just a big trainwreck

Oo, It's this really great action/mystery/supernatural anime with an intricate plot and great characters. I 100% recommend. Also, it somewhat has to do with gang wars in Tokyo

DID SOMEONE SAY CHINESE CARTOONSwell if we're talking about what animes we like, Rurouni Kenshin and Madoka Magica are currently my favorites, I've started on Your Lie in April, I enjoyed Fruits Basket, Fairy Tail, Ranma 1/2, Kill La Kill, Shokugeki no Soma, and a bunch of others I can't remember. i also unironically like sword art online, pacing, inconsistencies, and all. sue me"Original video animation (オリジナル・ビデオ・アニメーション Orijinaru bideo animēshon?), abbreviated as OVA (オーブイエー / オーヴィーエー / オヴァ ōbuiē, ōvīē or ova?) media (and sometimes as OAV, original animated video), are animated films and series made specially for release in home video formats without prior showings on television or in theatres, though the first part of an OVA series may be broadcast for promotional purposes. OVA titles were originally made available on VHS, later becoming more popular on LaserDisc and eventually DVD.[1] Starting in 2008, the term OAD (original animation DVD)[2][3] began to refer to DVD releases published bundled with their source-material manga." - Wikipedia basically they're direct to video things except they're actually good most of them
