Caedis is a Warrior cats fanfic I’m currently working on. Whoever knows Latin please correct me on the title which means “murder”. So as the title goes mysterious murders have been happening and it started with the murder of my OC Hollowflight who was found dead near the lake one morning. So yeah I’m still thinking of the characters and the plot and I might have to get a Toyhouse just to organise all the characters. Edit: Thank you ᴛᴜᴇsᴅᴀʏ for correcting me with my Latin. Main Protagonists Hawkclaw-huge gray tabby tom with a scar on his muzzle and dark amber eyes. His mother was a former leader known as Nightstar.
Larchsong-small, fluffy tortoiseshell she-cat with big paws and a feathery tail. Best friend and love interest of Hawkclaw. (Because you know, the main character has to be in love with someone.)

What's a toyhouse and will this be taking place with the canon clans? I heard you mention the lake. If so will all the character be ocs, or will canon characters be present also?

hi! latin student here. "occidendum" is a future passive participle meaning essentially "about to be killed" or used in a specific grammar construction meaning "must be killed." it is singular and neuter. a masculine singular subject will end in -us and not -um. masculine plural or mixed masculine and feminine plural would end in -i. all feminine subjects would end in -ae for plural, -a for singular. "caedis" is the noun for murder. less commonly, "nex" can be used. if you would prefer to use a verb form, try the following: "occisus" - perfect tense "he has been murdered"/"he was murdered" "occisi" - perfect tense "they have been murdered"/"they were murdered" "occiditur" - present tense "he is murdered" "occiduntur" - present tense "they are murdered" hope this helps! a cool site for relatively accurate latin translation is whitaker's words, if you need future latin help. Yes this is the canon clans and these will be with OCs. And Toyhouse is a website to keep track of your characters. It’s useful when you have a bunch of OCs like my favourite artist J.B. Pawstep. |
