Hiyo.
I've been a Warriors fan since 5th grade and I've read every main series book, Super Edition, and novella. None of the "manga", though. I sort of followed the series off and on through high school, catching up about once a year and reading whatever books I had missed. That trend continued until early February this year, when I suddenly decided to dive headfirst into the fandom. I joined a Discord server (Fourtrees), quickly read up on AVOS and Hawkwing's Journey (all of which I loved), spent a happy 1.5 months arguing about Ivypool, Darktail, Clear Sky, and others, and then finally caved into joining this forum which kept getting linked on the server. I also reread all the main series books from the first four series, since it had been many years since I had read any of them.
I'll be going by Fernstep here, though my usual username around the Internet (such as on Discord) is DuplexBeGreat. I'm a male college student from the US west coast and I'm a huge nerd about everything I'm a fan of.
My favorite series is supposedly Dawn of the Clans, though I'll be rereading it soon to see how well it truly stacks up against the others now that I have a fresher memory of them. My favorite characters include Jayfeather, Gray Wing, and Hawkwing.
I've written two Warriors fanfic oneshots on ao3 under the name DuplexBeGreat. One is a stupid shipping fic, the other is a stupid deep lore fic. My third fic, currently in the works, will tell the story of the background character Slatefur during the events of AVOS, because I don't know where the hell I come up with these ideas.
