"Sounds good to me." Coldgaze mewed, getting up to his paws. He didn't say anything, but he couldn't wait to go running through the mountain's terrain, he always felt at ease when the crisp breeze hit his pelt as he was ran. "After you." He gestured towards the camp's opening with his head and waited for Snowblaze to take the lead. He tended to keep to the back whenever he was out with either his sister or his mother, Silverstar.

Snowblaze headed out of the camp, playfully butting her brother on the way. She was excited to get out into the mountains and do something productive for the clan. She always felt at peace in the mountain's foothills with the stern peaks overlooking the cats below.
(Should we make up a story about the mountains and their dad since both siblings seem to like them so much or another idea like something that they did together during their apprenticeship? Or we could just leave it as is and its just something they both happen to like together. )

Coldgaze let out an amused purr before following behind Snowblaze, looking her affectionately as they both padded outside. He resisted the strong urge to charge ahead of the white she-cat once they were in the forest, though the thought of running was pretty tempting. |

(Ok cool  ) Snowblaze wanted to take of running, but she knew that would scare away the prey they were trying to catch for the clan. Once they were away from camp and headed toward the tree line, Snowblaze did take of running and headed toward her favorite spot. She arrived at the ledge over looking the clan's territory she had been looking for. The spot was tucked away in a more remote part of the territory and had been the first place her father had taken the two of them when they became apprentices. It had been a favorite spot of his and Snowblaze agreed with him that it was a wonderful place to look down over the whole territory. It had always made her feel peaceful here, especially when she was worried about something and she felt as if she could almost feel her father sitting here beside her. This perch had become a special place to her and her brother, especially after their father had passed away suddenly right before she finished her apprenticeship. Their father had been a courageous cat and a respected senior warrior killed trying to peacefully settle a border dispute between clans. That battle had earned Snowblaze her warrior name, but at the price of their father's life. Coldgaze had been in that battle. It had been a hard time for the clan especially for their mother who was the clan's deputy and had other cat's looking to her for answers even as she was trying to grieve the loss of her mate. It wasn't too long after before their mother was expected to step up and become the new leader of their battered clan. Snowblaze gazed down at the valley below and that about bringing her own kits here once they were apprenticed, that happy thought was quickly tinged by shame as she thought about the kits she bore. |

(How's that? I thought it would be a good idea for her brother to have been there when her father died because it would have been so traumatic for them and they would have needed each other to survive the battle after that, but I wanted you to decide if he'd gotten hurt or not.)

Spottednose was quite bored, and decided to go visit Ravenheart. He quickly padded to the medicine cat's den, brushing past the vine curtain and entering the den. His muscles relaxed after seeing the jet-black she-cat emerge from a pile of leaf wraps. "Hello! Do you know where Snowblaze and Skybeam went? I was going to ask them to go hunting with me, but they must have left. Do you have any idea?" He asked, eyes gleaming with curiosity." Anyways, can I stay for a while?" Spottednose shuffled a bit closer, resting the tip of his tail on her flank.
Ravenheart shrugged. "Probably gone out hunting, I expect. Are you just bored of being confined here with no patrols to go on?" She queried with a smirk, looking around at the organized den around her. "You know, I'm bored too. Oh, and of course you can stay." Her pelt started to grow hot with embarrassment for some odd reason, and she grew stiff. Spottednose's eyes were warm, and she felt a bit better. "Oh, yes, and.. " Ravenheart was lost for words.

From a distance, the cream-colored she-cat halted, her eyes fixed on Tooth. She had no idea who he was, but he was definitely not a CloudClan cat. She didn't want to jump to a fight, but she did lash her tail. "Why are you here?" She asked bluntly.

She was confused. This outsider was here, in claimed territory, and acted as if it were nothing! She puffed her chest fur out, maybe an act to seem intimidating or bigger even, and she watched him intently for any sudden moves. "You might be right, but this is claimed territory," she paused, but she spoke in a calm tone. "I wouldn't just... wander out here like that." She was giving more of a warning, but she herself didn't mind a simple chat.

He shrugged. "Use ta have a buddy in the clans." He paused and looked over at a spot with fresh flowers on the ground. "Burried right over there." He looked back at the she-cat and dipped his head. "Didn't mean ta bother ya'll clan cats. Just wanted ta pay my respects." Tooth sat down and looked up at the sky. "I understand if ya want me ta leave, but I usually stay 'till at least moonhigh. If ya give me that much, I'd greatly appreciate it."

"What was his name?" She asked curiously. Something about foreign cats intrigued her. What was life away from clans? Where did the feed from? How dod they spend nights? There were questions she wanted to ask but she didn't want to seem nosy. "It's alright. If you don't cause trouble, at least, we'll be fine."

"Talked 'bout Starclan an battles. One day I came by and only a weepin' Brightspirit was there. Told me he was a goner and then said she was runnin' off to become a kittypet. Told me ta look after her kit but she didn't realize that the kit was a stillborn." He shook his head, remembering his past. "But I said enough. Ya probably gettin' bored with all o' this." Coldgaze bounded after Snowblaze when he noticed her quickening pace, the tom was curious about where she was speeding off to, but once he noticed the familiar landmarks as both cats ran past them he knew exactly where his sister was going. The white tom slowed to a stop when he noticed the ledge just up ahead, a place he and his father and sister had frequented many times before their father's passing. It felt lonely without him here, Coldgaze thought, his ears lowered as he remembered when his father was alive. After the warrior had died, Coldgaze spent more time here than in the Clan, curled up by the edge and cursing at StarClan and at himself for not doing much to keep him alive. He blamed himself for his death, he still believed he could've done more to defend him rather than take a hit to the muzzle. He padded to his sister's side, silently looking down CloudClan.

She relaxed and let her guard down as she heard his story. "I'm sorry." She said, knowin what loss felt like, then glancing at the patch of flowers as she struggled to remember something about the cat, his name sounding familiar despite not being able to pinpoint who he was. "Clan life is difficult sometimes, but we work as a unit and we survive." She smiled in return, "Sometimes it's unfair. But there's nothing we can do about that."

Snowblaze looked sadly over at her brother glad that he had joined her. She sat there thinking about their father. "I miss him," she said to her brother. "I'm not even sure I remember him as much as you."

Foxheart /Male/ 30 moons
Description: An orange cat with cream colored points on his tail, paws, and ears. The area around his eyes is a brownish color, and his eyes are a striking green. One of his ears has a slight dock in the middle, almost as if he had torn off an identification tag. It's really a claw scar.

"I miss him too." Coldgaze mewed somberly, to him it felt like only yesterday that their father first brought the two of them to the ledge. He wished he could go back to that time just to be with him again. "But I try my best not to think about it, he wouldn't want us feeling sad about him being gone." He looked as Snowblaze with a sad smile on his face. "I remember he hated seeing you look so depressed, he did everything he could think of just to see you smile again." He said, trying to bring up happier memories of him.

And mom has been so busy since she became the clan leader, burrowing her grief in her duties," said Snowblaze, "You take after him that way you know. Always trying to cheer everyone up. I've always been to focused like mum, only opening up to my own kin. Do you think he's watching over us right now?"
