You are a weary traveler, tired and aching from your long journey. With a heaving chest and sore paw pads, you pause for a moment to catch your breath. Your parched throat aches and there seems to be no prey around, at least not for you. You barely have enough strength to call for help in this wilderness, and just stare bleakly at the mountains looming over you. Feeling darkness close in on your vision and letting your limbs crumple uselessly to the ground, you lose consciousness.
"They're up, Silverstar! They're up!"
A voice startles you as you wake up, and you look around wildly. You are in a den with two cats, one with a regal sort of aura and beautiful silver fur.
"Yes, I can see that." The silver she-cat replied calmly, looking down at you with piercing blue eyes. You shrink under her gaze.
"I'm... I'm travelling... Would you be willing to take me in?" You ask quietly, looking up with large and pleading eyes.
"We? We are CloudClan, and we would be willing to offer you a spot in our clan as long as you can provide for us." The other cat standing beside the silver one answered with a bow of their head.
"Yes, of course!" You reply, overjoyed.
"Then.... Welcome. You can rest up a bit and then explore camp."
While all cats in the clan are different, cats who live in CloudClan tend have similar traits. Because of their ancestry to SkyClan, they have similar characteristics of them.Due to the rough terrain, most of the cats have thick padded paws. Living in an area with an abundance of trees and rocks, the cats also have strong back legs, but are very lithe, agile and light which allows jumping to be a common skill among most. This skill is especially useful for their hunting, which consists mostly of birds. They must depend on their speed in order to get good height when jumping.
CloudClan cat's pelt color vary from browns, to whites, to blacks. Fur length also varies, although most of them tend to have shorter pelts which helps with their speed and jumping.

Spirit- Giving: Cloudclan cats have a very strong connection with their spirit ancestors, and every half-moon each cat fit to hunt will donate one animal they caught to Starclan. This is thought to make sure that they are satisfied with Cloudclan.
Mate Ritual: When a cat wants to make a proposal to be another's mate, they leave a pure white feather in the recipient's bedding. Then, after waiting two days the feather must be removed. If it turns red, their love is meant to be. If not, they are not destined to be mates.
Moon Cave visit: Up in the mountains, about half a day's travel away, is a cave called the Moon Cave. Every moon the leader goes to meet with Starclan, and inside the cave they must use their senses to try and find the back of the cave. At the back, there is a shimmering pool of water that the cat must drink from to connect with Starclan. The medicine cat accompanies them on the journey.
CloudClan's history began long ago, shortly after the fall of SkyClan. After the legendary clan's territory was destroyed, the clan was forced into exile and was separated from the rest of the four clans. Most of the SkyClan cats stayed together, but a few disbanded and went off on their own. Times were hard, and it was easier to be in smaller groups than in larger ones.
The cat who designated himself leader of the new group was called Duskfall. A strong leader, he led his small group of cats to a new territory far off near the base of the mountains. Here, he started a family with his mate. The few cats that were there lived well, however issues soon began to ring up regarding rank, hunting and responsibilities. The cats found it hard to live without clan rules and their numbers were only increasing. With that, the cats voted and
Duskfall, now Duskstar, was made leader of the newly made clan- which they called CloudClan, after their SkyClan leader. The clan prospered well with the warrior code and rankings now set in place. However, located in the mountains, is a group of other cats who don't get along well with the clan cats. These cats are a threat to the clan. The clan was coming along as SkyClan had, many of the cats resembling their past clan's cats. CloudClan strived for many generations, and continues to be strong under new leadership. However, the clan is not alone.

CloudClan territory is located at the outskirts of a deciduous woodland forest, leading to the mountains which are farther off in the distance. The footing here is grassy but traveling towards the mountains, the ground begins to get more rugged and rocky. Running down from the mountains is a river. At the top of the mountain, coming from the moon caves, it is more level and calm, but as it winds down the mountain, it becomes more rough and then calms again when it reaches the base of the mountain. It then runs through the clan's forest territory and opens into a large lake, called Lost Lake. Credit to Picia for the territory info!
Cloudclan camp is in the middle of a clearing with a gigantic tree of unknown type in the middle, called the kinship tree. The warriors den is a very grassy area covered with ferns on the sides and more plants at the back. Two maple trees are by the entrance. The apprentices den is entered through a short tunnel going into the ground. It's a dry, dark, cold cave underground that is made for sleeping and nothing more. There are cozy moss nests everywhere and leaves on the ground in hopes of making the den's floor a bit warmer. The elder's den is made from woven plants with a vine curtain over the entrance. This den is practically the most comfy out of all the dens. In an unnocupied corner of camp, there is a large tree that still dwarfs the kinship tree. It's roots bulge out of the ground, making a little space you can slip into. Inside of the roots, there is a sort of large room inside. Half of the area has just nests, and the other half has many leaf wraps that store herbs inside tucked between carved clefts in the wall. This space is the medicine cat's den and the nursery. For easier treatment of the queens and kits, they are together. The medicine cat and their apprentice sleep in the nests at the back of the nursery. Trees circle the entire camp. To show that the leader is humble and ready to serve the clan, they sleep on the ground or in a makeshift den.

To join, please post your screen name, cat's name, their rank, description, and their age. DO NOT post their personalities. It's interesting to figure out the personalities as the role play goes along. Also, don't make an apprentice under 6 moons or over 12 moons, same with warriors. No under aged warriors or elders.
1. No kit_ing. You should know this by now though!
2. Keep it PG-13 at the most, and please don't make too much blood or gore.
3. If there is something that is not suitable for the forums, do a time skip.
4. Don't make drama without the permission of me or AngelFur.
5. Be a good person, please. You character can be mean, but please don't be like that when you are out of your character and talking.
6. When you are out of character, please use brackets or something to indicate you aren't roleplaying.
7. Follow all basic forum rules.
8. No mary-sues or Gary-stus. Also, no special powers or blue fur. Pretty much, this is an ordinary clan.
9. One-liners are fine, as long as the roleplay progresses smoothly.
10. For every three she-cat characters you make, there needs to be a tom.
11. Please follow all these rules, or you will be temporarily suspended from this clan. I don't mean to be too strict, but I don't want mods to delete all my hard work.

Silverstar sat on a thick, sturdy branch of the kinship tree, her paws aching and weary from traveling to the Moon Cave just a sunrise ago. She licked her paw, watching as Spottednose returned from patrol gruffly with a good haul of prey. "Good job!" She called down to him, looking down to see his chest puff up with pride as he dropped of his catch at the fresh-kill pile. Her beautiful blue eyes widened as she saw a slash on his flank. "Please go get that checked out." Silverstar added sternly. None of her warriors would be injured without her knowing.
Spottednose felt the new gash in his pelt throb, and also saw a small injury on his leg. He hoped no one would question it, but sighed with guilt. Slowly, his whole body aching, he slowly limped over to the medicine cat's den with a heavy heart. It always made him feel much better to see Ravenheart though.
Ravenheart leaped to her paws as she saw the warrior trudge in, and quickly supported his weary body. A small blush swept over her dark-furred face, but she hid it well. "Are you all right?" She queried worriedly, checking his wounds and wiping away the dirt with cobwebs. The tom's face showed nothing, but his eyes twinkled with gratitude. "Here, just relax." Ravenheart soothed as she examined the deepest wound and began to smooth a poultice over it, then applying a light dressing of leaves.

(Just a suggestion: I would recommend not having all of the higher positions such as leader, medicine cat, and medicine cat apprentice as yours only. I'm recommending this as I know that some people would like such positions. I'm new to this world of RPing, but this is something I think.)

When blizzardpaw was only a moon old only 12 moons old at the time, they were both kitty pets there house was on fire, sadly both there mother and father were traped inside ever since that day blossonfur was petraffied of Fire a few moons after that there were found by cats of cloud clan and taken in.

SweetClover1- Twistedpaw (Path), Medicine cat apprentice, thin black she cat with white ear tips and a white tail tip as well. She has wide golden eyes and a terrible scar running from her shoulder to her paw tip, leaving her left leg completely useless. She has a scar on the back of her neck as well, she received these scars from a wolf attack when she and her sister, Nightpaw, where hunting. Twistedpath survived, barely, but her sister didn't. She ended up retiring from her warriors training (unwillingly) and has shown an aptitude for healing, and is now the apprentice for Ravenheart. She is 14 moons old, ready to receive her medicine cats name.

Coldgaze padded out of the warriors' den, his eyes squinted against the bright morning sun, Coldgaze let out a loud yawn and luxuriously stretched his limbs. He wasn't used to waking up this early on his own, usually he was woken up with a sharp shove of the deputy telling him to be ready for the dawn patrol.
Birchclaw on the other paw was definitely an early riser, the pale gray cat padded into camp with two mice in her jaws hanging from their tails. She quickly tossed them onto the fresh-kill pile and sat down, licking the dust off her paws.
