I tried to read the first Seekers book years ago and quit before I even reached the halfway point. I'm surprised because the Erins have done amazingly well with Warriors, but Seekers is so excruciatingly boring. That was years ago, however. I was thinking: should I pick it up again? (The same hardcover copy is still sittin' dusty and new on my bookshelf!)

Seekers is definitely a character driven book series, so if you can't handle a book series with no real plot, I wouldn't suggest it.
For me, personally, I really like it. It has that spiritual, organic feel. The book series is simple and since most conflict lies in inner turmoil, the characters are easy to connect to.

Seekers isn't really the best Erin Hunter series, in my opinion, but it's worth a reading.

Seekers is more of a character exploration than true plot. The plot shifts almost every two books. There's always the underlying plot of the long journey. Then there's bear Jesus, uhh Ujurak. I really loved it. Probably worth it.
