I'm in-between on Barkface, leaning towards like. His personality was never shown enough for me to form a solid opinion on him, until I read Tallstar's Revenge. I did like his character there.

Like. I honestly don't really understand why he's so disliked. He led the rebellion and was a massive improvement over Brokenstar. He was a very nice cat during Yellowfang's secret. And just because he's an elder doesn't mean he can't lead. He's younger then people think, forced to retire earlier because of his breathing problems. Yellowfang actually a good way older then him, an adult when he was a kit, so if she can still serve as Medicine cat, he can serve as leader.

Nightstar: I really like him!! I think he's the best ShadowClan leader. He's fair, patient, kind, and wise. I was sad that he was sick most of his life, though. I love the scene where he played with a butterfly, because he showed that warriors and full adult cats could be both serious and playful. I feel so sad for him that Clawface went down the wrong path. I liked how close they were. I'm glad Nightstar came back after the whole Brokenstar debacle, and became leader.

Reedshine and Ravenwing are in-between. I just never cared for them. As for Mapleshade, I'm not even sure anymore. Of course, I hate her actions, but now I'm not even sure how I feel about her as a villain. So I guess, in-between, but even then I'm uncertain.

Reedshine: Like, for being willing to forgive her mate when he really didn't deserve it.
Ravenwing: Dislike, for refusing to even listen to Mapleshade's pleas that he not tell the Clan the omen he received about her kits, even though it's pretty safe to say he probably knew exactly how Oakstar would react.
Mapleshade: is a meme.

I missed out on Nightstar so quickly, I like him. I didn't really like that he attacked Thunderclan because they held Brokentail, but knowing that he needed his lives I sorta get it. I liked him every other time.
Reedshine: In-between. I feel like she had an attitude, but I would too if I found out my mate was cheating on me. I do get the feeling that she rubs it in Mapleshade's face that she won Appledusk.
Ravenwing: Dude was just doing his job, and he didn't know if these kits were a determent to his clan. He got an omen, so I think that was what pushed him. In-between.
Mapleshade: Also in-between. I don't like her backstory but I don't hate it. I thought she was badass before it, and I liked the mystery about her. She is less interesting with that backstory revealed, but pretty menacing. I guess I don't like that she had a hand in Tigerstar's evilness.
