I apparently have this habit of coming and being super active on the wff for, like, a week and then disappearing again, so I figured I might as well update y'all on the various reasons why I do that.

I'm currently in the midst of finals week, and after finals week I have only one more quarter left of pastry school. I am, in short, (insert non-forum swear word here) terrified. This is mostly because we have capstones at the end of sixth quarter and if you don't pass capstones you fail the entire degree. I started having anxiety dreams about them in, like, my third quarter. It's not fun.
But also, y'know, school takes a lot of mental energy and there are a couple of people who should be gratefully I haven't straight-up murdered them by now.

I also really want to have a complete and edited manuscript by the end of this year. I don't even particularly care if it's a new project or if it's my gutted NaNo project or what. I just want that done. I want to start querying agents by the beginning of 2019. So, fic is kind of on the backburner right now. I'll probably get back to them eventually, because fic is the way I write to really enjoy writing.
But yeah. I'll be on here sporatically and not really updating anything. School and non-fic is why.
