Tunnelclan
Founder: Chasm
Current leader: Chasmstar (desc. down below)
Territory: Tunnelclan's territory is a valley dottet with hills. Mountains are to the north, along with the Glimmering cave. Tunnelclan's camp is an underground tunnel. The entrance to the tunnel is blocked by brambles and heather. Once in the tunnel, cats will have to navigate and find which tunnel goes to the camp. The network of tunnels confuses enemies but Tunnelclan kits learn early on that if enemies or trouble were to ingulf the camp, to listen for the sound of the wind. This is because outside the camp, the wind blows harshly, sometimes rooting up small shrubs. The Tunnelclan cats have used the wind to their advantage however, they let the wind propell them when running after prey.
Prey: Tunnelclan prey consists of large birds (eagles and hawks) to sustain them in leafbare. Shrews, rabbits and smaller birds are on their menu during newleaf up to leaf-fall.
History: Tunnelclan was founded by a cat named Chasm, a loner wandering the valleys Tunnelclan now inhabits. He was a gray and brown tom with yellow eyes. He had a stocky build and a thick tail. His brother Tunnel was traveling with him to the mountains, for they heard the valleys there held fresher water and more prey than what the city had supplied the two. One day Chasm and Tunnel got into a fight with eachother while deciding to stop and rest or to keep going. Tunnel argued they should rest while Chasm wanted to keep going. Chasm ended up being the one to leave his brother in a fury of rage. He had gotten to the mountains and the rich valley in a few days time. He ended up living there for a couple moons. He was so heartbroken after leaving his brother that he left the mountain valley and went back to the moor, hoping he would find his brother. His hopes were not high after a few days of searching. When he was hunting one evening, from an unsucessful search, he ran into a cat who had just stolen his prey. He chased after, snapping at him to return the prey, the cat didn't listen. Chasm followed the stranger to a the top of a hill, shrubs were alined in a circle, shielding whatever it held inside. Just before Chasm could take a closer look, another cat emerged from the shelter of shrubs, a rose colored she-cat with blue eyes. She yowled in fear as soon as she saw Chasm and the stranger came bursting through the shrubs, back arched. He realized at once that the stranger was his brother Chasm. They both were estatic. Tunnel told Chasm that they she-cat was his mate and that they had kits. Chasm was finally happy again when he was reunited with Chasm. His happiness was short lived. Tunnel soon died in a dog attack. His mate, Lily survived along with her five kits. Chasm realized the current shelter they had wouldn't save them frm dogs or foxes so he took Lily and her kits to a tunnl he had found not long ago. They ended up exploring it, finding what is today Tunnelclan's camp. They settled down that night and Chasm dreamt. A starry cat came to him, telling him to build a clan, for it would pave the destiny for so many others. The starry cat told him about the warrior code and about Starclan, about ninelives and medicine cats. Chasm was star swept. He obeyed and was given ninelives. He was renamed Chasmstar. With newly named Lilystep and her kits: Spiderbranch, Petalfoot, Robinleap, Whitetuft and Fennelstem, they built up the clan in no time, taking in anyone they could find. In the end the clan was named after Tunnel. Fenneltuft became the first medicine cat while Robinleap became the first deputy. The clan held deep respect for their ancestors and thanked them for their abilites that no other clan possessed. However, a few moons before the current Chasmstar became deputy, the current deputy at the time, Rooktail led his clan astray from their ancestors, making Tunnelclan today less connected with them.

Leader: Chasmstar: mottled gray and light brown tom with green eyes. He is a tall, stocky cat with a fluffy tail. He has a deep respect for Starclan and cares deeply for his clanmates, often solving border disputes peacefully so no one gets hurt. However he can be stubborn at times and overprotective. He has a mate Jayflight, but no kits. He is 39 moons old. (smokyyy)
