Torino; thanks- I’m excited but it’s gonna be weird. Not happy bout missing work though. It’s been absolutely hectic the past 2 weeks bc of Mother’s day/proms/recitals and I haven’t had time to get everything done. Leaving the department in the hands of parttimers for 2 days and I am not happy I’m missing fri/sat
Really nervous bc I am driving my grandparents to the graduation and my grandpa has really bad anxiety and i got anxiety and my sister got anxiety and like what happens when you throw them all in one car....

I gave all my cats their spring bath last week to speed up the shedding process. They're still shedding a little, but nowhere near like they were.

I'm allergic to them in the spring when they shed, and the fall when they start growing in their winter coat. I've found that one bath during each of these times gets rid of the dander (the part I'm allergic to) and means I don't wake up in the middle of the night unable to breathe.

Baby cardinal left the nest. According to the internet, the age for it to do so is right. It also says that they tend to hide in the bushes for a while so the parents can teach it to fend for itself, and based on where the parents keep guarding/going to, I think it's in my neighbor's bush, which I obviously can't go check.
While looking for it though, I did find another robin nest in a different bush, and this one has 3 eggs in it. Not sure yet if it's the same 2 that made the nest on my back gutter and lost all their eggs, or if this is a different pair, since the original set was still messing with their old nest yesterday.
I'm enjoying my yard being the nature channel if you can't tell.
