i've had my cats all their lives lol well, the older 2. got them when they were just weeks old. the last one that is a kitten now, we found her outside when she was 6 months old.
i want a new kitten though too...i mean, one that i get when it's weeks old lol my dad wanted to murder me when we brought in the new cat...he was not happy
he doesnt want any more pets

Get it anyways, trust me. Don't actually, my dad was the same way...we started out with one cat, Loner, then I just..kept finding cats. We, at one point, had 12. Does your dad like the cats now?
That was the reason why I kept getting more cats, my dad would say no more but he'd fall in love with the new one I brought home so we'd keep it. He only has 3 now, some sadly died(out of our control, they were all well fed) and others were given to loving homes when I moved into my first apartment.

Mine first cat was summoned by the power of baked beans.Then my poppa almost stepped on her lol.But after her second litter we got her fixed and a few months later she left and we haven't seen her since.It's a wonder Smokey is her son since he doesn't try to kill you every two minutes

Before we brought my cat Squirrelflight inside for good, she used to bring us animals. It started as dead animals waiting for us when we got home in the morning on the front stoop, then she started bringing me live animals when I would go to leave for work and try to "teach me to hunt" (I appreciated it, but there was no way I could kill a poor innocent mouse). When we would get deliveries, she viewed it as a challenge, and would immediately bring the equivalent to us (when the washer and dryer were delivered, that was 2 things going in, so she would bring 2 dead animals). Any time the bodies were left, I would always praise her and thank her, then carry the body in the front door, then straight out the back door to dispose of it in the woods (I didn't want to insult her by throwing it away in front of her). Towards the end, it would be as soon as we would sit down to eat, you'd hear a *thump* against the front door, which was her throwing her newest kill against the door. You'd open the door, praise her, tell her what a brilliant little hunter she was, then she'd settle down to eat whatever the catch of the day was, and we'd go back to our meal inside. I hate that I took hunting away from her when I brought her in, but I would rather her be safe and bored than at risk with the freedom to hunt (plus we moved from the country to the city, and there's no way she could be an outdoor cat now).

he fell in love with the cat
he doesn't not like them....he just doesn't want another mouth to feed cause we already had 2 cats and 2 dogs
he used to bring in strays when he was younger all the time
growing up one of my cats was actually a stray he brought in
