Yay! We finally have names! So apparently they are called Harekit, Dapplekit, Gorsekit and Softkit To me it honestly sounds like something someone would name kits in their fanfic, anyone else? Anyways, I thought I will try giving them descs and names.
Hareleap - pale brown tom
Dapplefoot - dappled brown she-cat with white paws and blue eyes
Gorseheart - gray and white tom
Softpelt - ginger and white she-cat |

the only one that really seems odd to me is softkit. i don't know why, it just seems like a weird thing to call a kit. of course your kit is soft, kittens tend to be like that.

I think it would be interesting if Softkit were a kind cat with a soft heart.

Are they half-Clan? Harekit and Gorsekit sound like names a WindClan cat would give their kits. Oooh wait I got a plot twist, what if they are Harespring's and Harekit is named after him? I find it weird that there are two cats sharing the same prefix as erins are usually creative with the names. |

Lakeheart's kits are actually named Wavekit and Cypresskit. The kits listed in the allegiances are a mistake that Kate somehow made... How that happened, I do not even know. :/ This series really needs new editors.

So, Lakeheart, despite clearly being stated to have four kits and after some suggestions I gave to Kate, doesn't have Harekit, Dapplekit, Softkit or Gorsekit. Though after some interesting words she mentioned, perhaps they just got a new mother...

Also Kate said that another editorial team is working on this series... That's likely why harpercollins could choose names and why these mistakes happen. |

Or maybe Lakeheart DOES have Harekit and others and Cypresspaw and Wavepaw were stated to be her kits by mistake? I think that's possible

I asked Kate about a certain tom in RiverClan having a mate and kits(Not want to say who it is because I don't want to get hopes up if HC rejects the idea) and she liked the idea. She, and I guess with the help of myself and some other fans, decided Duskfur was going to be this tom's mate and she mentioned how she'll put that in the allegiances. I assumed she was going to give Duskfur and this tom another litter, but she replied with by saying she'd put both parents beside Curlfeather and Podlight. You know like Curlfeather/Podlight(Kits of Duskfur and(insert tom's name here)) |
