In early 2015, I was browsing around in Barnes & Nobles. This was when the Warriors books reprinted with the new covers were making their way into circulation, which caused mass confusion in newer members of the fandom. I was standing there admiring the design the new prints made when you out the spines together when I heard a voice behind me. "Awww, they still don't have book one." There was this little girl and her brother. The girl was looking at a glaring Ashfur on the cover of Long Shadows. Then she turned to the face of Clear Sky on The Blazing Star; she looked utterly lost. Her brother ran off to another part of the bookstore. I approached the girl, saying that I could help her find what she was looking for. I led her to where I was looking a moment before and scanned the spines. I picked up a copy of Into the Wild with its new cover and handed it to the girl. Her face lit up. "Thank you! I've been looking for this forever!" She turned and ran calling her brother's name. I stood there shaking my head in amazement, thinking "Wow, a new generation of fans growing up with these new covers." Thinking back on it now, I really wanted to sit her down at one of those 3-foot, wooden kiddie tables and give her some guidance on this wonderful, traumatizing, epic, and somewhat infuriating series that will be a part of a new stage in her life. So what advice would you give to a new fan? Tell me what you'd share!

I'd tell them to enjoy the series while they can. To me, this series isn't really what it used to be.

have lots of money for books, and... don't get attached. To anybody. Because ERIN WILL KILL THEM AND RUIN YOUR LIFE.

um... no. Power of Three is the worst. Name ONE thing that happens in it that’s actually important.

I would tell them to get the books from the library first... then buy them if you love em Because it's a nightmare spending money on a book you don't like. The money I spent on Power of Three and Omen of the Stars is something I would never get back

If ANYONE calls your opinion on a character or book in the series "satanic" or something along the lines of OMG, I didn't know anyone could like that dark forest spawn. A) You are not in the wrong. If anything, they are in the wrong for being obnoxious and uncalled for. Don't et ot discourage you from stating your opinion.

Don't criticize or judge characters too easily. Unless it's Tigerclaw/star or Ashfur. Kill them with FIRE

Don't make the same mistake some of us made and pay close attention to the series titles!
Don't read Into the Wild then go on to Moonrise, Dark River, Fading Echoes, etc.
