It's that time again! Mint hasn't posted a topic about what she's been working on and she starts to wonder if anyone might want a little update on that.
So that's the life.
What has been Mint up to?
One word.
And you'll all probably guess it.
School.
Which has sapped my motivation for Poisoning the Sea page making, Sky of Shattered Stars plotting, and has reduced her to fluff writing on the bus. Fluff writing meaning angst having to do with her vampire OC that I will bore you greatly with later on in this thread. *manic laughter here*
Anyway, probably more to people's 'I care' taste is that I've been semi-working on the editing of Will to Live and Double Mirror, enough that I'll share another little bit of my child with you:
Not long, but there we go.
Furthermore, I haven't been writing, but I have been doing this for The Paranormal World series: www.worldanvil.com/w/seaside----earth-forevermint
Just me puttering around when I'm bored. Most of it is pretty much verbatim from the main headquarters, but I'm slowly making it all detailed and fancy.
Anyway, on to what I actually plan to do. I plan to go back to my regularly scheduled comic updates as soon as possible, which will hopefully be soon. We are starting to get closer to some base answers, which means we can move on to the good stuff. Character interaction v. world building. Hopefully I can pull that off, since the world of Seaside has such a vast amount of characters with personal secrets and lives that I want to cover, but have to limit.
The plans for Sky of Shattered Sky is for it to be a loose update pattern, since it seems like my schedule for upkeep is going to be limited. Hopefully I can start the prologue next time I head out on the bus instead of writing more angst fluff.
And finally, speaking of angst fluff, I'm posting a topic in OTW for it. So please enjoy the pending angst and hopefully someone will care. X'D I'll put a link here when I get it up.

He heard the sound of muted protests as someone jerked the phone out of Marcus’ hand.
“Yes?” questioned Percival. “Is there something I can do for you, Drake?” Right to the point.
“Could at least say ‘hi,’” Drake pointed out, but he couldn’t help being amused. “Savannah and I are getting married in a couple of months…I wanted to ask – “
He was cut off as he heard Marcus as he asked Percival, “He inviting us to the wedding?”
“Shut up, Marcus,” Drake said into his phone at the same time as Percival said the same thing. “But yes,” Drake added. “I am inviting you, Cara, Armando, and Clarinet to the wedding. I have the invitations here. Collect, mind you. You’re in Canada and that’s still going to cost a fortune.”
“And Percival?” Marcus prompted, even as Drake heard Percival push him away from the mouth-piece of the phone.
“If you’d let me finish,” Drake sighed. “I wanted to ask…would Percival like being the best man.”
Percival was silent, and then there was a loud thumb and clatter, very close to the phone. Drake had to pull it away from his ear.
“You dropped the phone!” Marcus exclaimed, incredulous. He must have picked it up, because he said into it, “He’s looking rather shocked, but he’s smiling. That’s a yes, Mr. Williams. See you in a couple months,”
The phone was hung up before Drake could say more. Mr. Williams? Well… that seemed about right.
He set the phone down on the counter, smiling.
