Good to know! To be honest, Rose's entire character is heart-themed and based on a love concept, so he's just very loving and affectionate and such. He's kind of meant to be like the physical incarnation of love? If he were in Percy Jackson, he is 100% a son of Aphrodite Alex should watch out! He'll totally ruin her street cred with how cutesy he likes to be. "Alex I filled your room with roses for our anniversary~!" - "Alex let's take couple pictures~" - "Good morning love, I have a poem for you~" And then lots of pet names and surprise kisses. He will absolutely hold hands for as long as she wants

I'll have to apologize in advance on Rose's behalf then. ^^' He won't pressure her but he isn't going to let it go either.

Oh! David Jonah Lockhart and Pierce Van Dalen are two completely different characters! I was going to use Davy, then decided to switch him out for Pierce last minute because he isn't sarcastic enough- But I ended up not needing to because we decided on Rose. So I re-elegated Pierce to a background/support character like I did with Jin!

Also if this in any way negatively affects his appearance he will momentarily forget his stance on violence and punch Pierce right in the mouth.

Rose refuses to sleep partly because spiders- and partly because he has the stronger senses- but mostly because he wants to have Alex sleep as much as she can to recover. He's going to stare her into unconsciousness if he has to. And will deny ever singing

She won't have to worry about that! He'll give her all of the remaining blood packs and pretend he has more. Tsk.

He knows. x3 It's the price one must pay for Consistent Perfection.
She might end up having to borrow his because he scrapped her shirt and would've gotten rid of her jacket if he didn't suspect how attached she is to it. It still offends him )

He really wouldn't mind the scars, though he does understand that many people are self-conscious about them. If she hints or brings this up in the Roleplay, Rose would tell her silly stories about how he got some of his own scars to make her feel better~

He wouldn't challenge her on that~ xp Even Canon!Rose isn't the best at combat. His 'berserker' mode is meant for killing, not fighting. He can only kill you as long as he maintains the upper hand for long enough- And he isn't always in his right mind so he's not using his full mental potential.

Honestly though, if he did have the opportunity he'd pick out something he thinks she would like and try to hide the fact that he really wants her to like it. Rose is secretly a dork~

xj Pretty much. Poor Alex is stuck with such a high maintenance vampire- Honestly my views on vampires were affected by the fact that in every steampunk book I read, the vampires were posh and all 'Farrah dear, I'd rip your throat out but I just bought this dress.' And in one, the main character was actually warned never to insult a vampire's fashion because they'd sooner kill her for that than attempting to kill them herself. I think it was a book about Van Helsing's daughter?

That's what he was banking on~ I imagine that he never actually knew her personally, but he did keep an eye on her because of that. Rose may dislike Alex on principle but he respects her- somewhat- and her level of threat to his life. xj

She can't shake the feeling that something is off about him. And once she finds out about Rose, and that he was up to something this whole time, she would feel so betrayed. She probably wouldn't even know what to do at that point, since she doesn't want to believe it. Alex knows he has some good in him. She knows everyone has good in them. He did choose to help her, instead of leaving her to bleed to death. Rose could have easily claimed that she died, because there weren't any witnesses since Terrance disappeared.}

He does but they're all minor. He wouldn't even mention them, but if she wants to, there is a nick on his shoulder from a stake that he was surprised by. I think I forgot to mention this in the Roleplay? But the hunters were under orders not to kill him. At least until he started killing them but by then it was too late

Rose is going to love trying to dress her up. He's the type to gift clothes and such.

He's such a Trust Fund Kid. 
It's a combination of things! Rose was born into money in an era where being related to royalty was still a major thing. So he's always had a silver spoon. After he became a vampire, he dabbled in various practices & businesses. With his charisma and interpersonal intelligence, he always found it easy to make money, and then he just used smarts to keep it by saving and opening multiple accounts and such. So like, he has gold doubloons from that one time he thought it'd be fun to go off and become a pirate for a bit. But quickly discovered that he gets seasick But basically- He's lived for a long time and knows how to make use of it. Before the whole war happened, I imagine that he was pop star famous because he's a beautiful millionaire philanthropist who knows like, every other famous person. This is why he keeps a low profile in the army- And also another reason it's a very bad thing that Godfrey betrayed them~

Ah, they'd both be hurting then! :') I haven't yet decided if he tells her or she finds out on her own- I suppose it depends on where we go with the story~
His betrayal isn't wholly good or bad either- He's essentially playing both sides and using them against each other to tear the major threats down. Like tricking one high ranking general into fighting another which leads to a ripple effect of both their plans being laid bare so that he can turn the tides in his favor. Rose wants the war to end and he's willing to play dirty to accomplish this. That includes backstabbing, blackmailing, bribery, etc.
-Also he's secretly taking care of human orphans so I suppose some vampires would think that's a bad thing too?
I think if he truly didn't like her and she was more obviously suspicious of him, he would have put her out of her misery and be done with it, honestly. ^^" -But she doesn't need to know that ahem- It might come up later though? Your call~ But as I said, Rose respects Alex's skill and he knows Jin would be devastated. But more than that, he hates 'wasting a life' by leaving someone to die if he can save them. Their fight against Godfrey also factors in.
Oh, Terrence! xj Neither I nor Rose have forgotten about him- But I'm debating on whether he died or was captured. What do you think?

Sure~ She could've passed through New Orleans or something- Or Canada- I imagine that part of the reason Rose is so fluent in French is that he lived in France for a good portion of time. Because it was like, the center of western education for a while and he likes to be where other smart people are.

cx He'll love that. While not exactly prone to a lot of chatter, Rose loves to talk too. I imagine that he'd really enjoy listening to Alex's stream-of-conscious chatter even if they aren't really discussing anything important. Likely with heart eyes because he's a sap. And he'd probably hush anyone who interrupts her.)

Ambrosius didn't quite avoid her gaze, but his brows lifted slightly as he huffed at her. "I'd prefer the company of a squirrel." The quirk of his lips drew the bite from his words, though his tone remained dismissive as he continued. "That was likely your ears ringing from blood loss." His next smile was far less restrained, revealing a hint of fang as he watched the other vampire cover her blushing face. Ambrosius had never actually seen Kaltman in an embarrassed state before and was quite enjoying the opportunity with a resolution to induce more- Until her next words somewhat sobered his amusement. "I see." He said lightly, but he did not elaborate and neither did she. It would not do to imply he saw this as a weakness, but it is a problem nonetheless, and one that must be addressed.

The quirk returned to his smile when she slipped the emptied blood pack into her pocket rather than toss it. While it was of course the smart decision to avoid leaving evidence of their passing, he wondered if it was an environmentally driven one as well. Ambrosius doesn't truly know Alexandria Kaltman as much as he knows of her- He had carefully screened everyone on his team before consenting to work with them after all- But there were certain facets of one's character that can only be teased out in person. Naturally their impromptu disaster of a detour would facilitate that, and they were already behaving more civilly- Ambrosius headed off the thought before it could take any substantial shape. They had more pressing matters to devote their attention to. Being civil with someone who could still loosely be classified as a threat would be the obvious course to take in this situation. Especially considering the fact that he'd recently lost an ally.

Ambrosius was able to break free of his thoughts in time to register Kaltman's words, gloved fingers drifting upwards to muffle his ungentlemanly snort. "Undoubtedly." He said in answer to both her statements, tone wry. It was somewhat tiring, how often she could overturn his expectations and surprise him, as what she huffed next so effortlessly did. He barely heard her defense of her ridiculous jacket, roseate eyes widening slightly for the barest hint of a second before his expression settled into one of a familiar flirtatious nature. "Oh?" Ambrosius meant for it to be knowing and arrogant but it emerges on a soft laugh. She crossed her arms in a defiant motion but he simply found it endearing. "Between comparing my beauty to Aphrodite's roses and craving my presence, I could almost believe there's a deeper meaning behind your behavior thus far." His eyes sparkled with mirth. "Not that I could blame you, mind."

Evidently Kaltman is recovering at a healthy rate- She didn't hesitate to make a pun on his name that she then laughed at and even shot him finger guns afterward. 'So you are the reason Jin has been so taken with doing that lately.' Usually Ambrosius would dismiss or deride her silly fondness for puns, but for whatever reason- He laughed. It surprised him and he tried to smother it with a fist, only succeeding in making it worse, shoulders shaking as he half turns away in a futile attempt to conceal it. The combination was just- And she had grinned at him to gauge his reaction. "How long-" He had to pause to suck in a breath. His lungs hurt but it was worth it. "How long have you been waiting to say that?" She looked so pleased with herself- and her tone was brighter than he'd ever heard it directed at himself. Kaltman smiled teasingly at him and Ambrosius tried not to be startled by the change a few hours had wrought, from sniping and being sniped at to sharing a laugh like none of that had truly mattered. He'd always known she could be a rather warm person, he had merely accepted that her favor would go to a very select few. They're likely still being hunted and he knew that he needed to urge her onwards soon, yet he felt himself relaxing incrementally. He felt secure enough to allow for a few more minutes. She still needed rest, no matter how eager she was to share her puns.
Apparently emotional exhaustion is truly beginning to take its toll on his mind.

Ambrosius tries not to make his wooden shifting look quite so stiff, resting an arm on an upraised knee and leaning back against the bark of the oak once more. It had been a while since he'd been on the field and his body is protesting at not doing anything more strenuous than light training in the gym for months. Half-lidded roseate eyes drift from the treeline to settle on his partner once more. She's smiling and he feels himself returning it. "Of course not," He begins loftily, "I was merely waiting for you to earn the honor of my addressing you as such-" Ambrosius's smile turns teasing. "I happen to like the name Alexandria. I might have had a cat who shared it-" He gives her an appraising sidelong look. "You share some similarities as well, now that I consider it."

He had expected her not to hesitate, but the sentence she tacks on to the end of her dismissive agreement earns her an arch of his brow. "Oh? And why would that be?" And then, an offended huff. "Mon nounours?"

Ambrosius is still frowning when Kal- Alexandria returns and drops a keychain into his warily extended hand. A teddy bear keychain. How...fitting. His gaze flickers up to her determined features, scanning them briefly before he slowly curls his fingers around the gift. "Just like Alexandria." He smirks at her, swiping his thumb pensively over the attached keys before pocketing them.

Tossing his hair back over his shoulder, he then rocks onto his heels and rises with a soft exhale, stretching like a feline. "That's enough lingering. Pack up while I check the perimeter. We need to find better cover before nightfall." With this, he begins to jog toward the edge of the clearing. Recalling her earlier words, Ambrosius slows and flickers gloved fingers. "I'll still be in view, I just need to collect the traps."
