(And even though I gotta go for the night I just wanted to let everyone know that any of my cats are open for any kind of relationship, especially family, and I'm totally willing to change their ages to fit)

I live in NSW, Australia.
Hm... let's make Frostpaw and Doveheart go training in the park, maybe hunting?

[ Oh I live in VIC^^ Yeah sure thing, sounds good. I'm on my phone now so I might be replying a bit slowly. ]
Frostpaw lay curled up on a soft patch of grass in camp, having drifted into a light sleep earlier. Slight movements could be seen under his closed eyelids as his back legs twitched every so often; he was dreaming of chasing after a rabbit, his paws flying over the ground - nothing like his normal, clumsy self. The sun warmed his back as he slept, the warmth mirrored in his dream: the sun bore down on him as he chased his rabbit, getting all the more closer with every step.

[ Oh nice to see another Aussie here! No problem ]
Doveheart had spent most of the morning fixing up a hole in the nursery after some heavy wind the night before blew a hole in the roof of the shrubs. Doing the task meant her pelt became filled with bits of leaves and twigs, they snuggled into her soft white and grey fur and clung to the strands so they wouldn't fall out. Afterwards, she felt her stomach growl. She stepped into the apprentices den, which neighboured the nursery, and found Frostpaw asleep. Doveheart noticed him twitching and smiled to herself. She wondered what kind of dreams the young tom was having, and almost felt bad for having to disturb them. She knelt forward and pressed her right front paw into his side, pressing just light enough to wake him up. "Time to wake up, Frostpaw," she meowed, "we are going to go hunting, it'll be good training." She continued. She'd had Frostpaw as her apprentice for just a moon now and found him to be rather quiet and shy. She hoped that through training he'll be able to open up a bit. Although she'd never mentioned it before, she couldn't help but feel for him after the loss of his mother, and felt personally responsible to make him the best warrior he can be.

[ Always good to find another Aussie^^ ]
Frostpaw groaned as he felt a paw press into his side, screwing his face up and closing his eyes more tightly. He tried to hold on to the last remnants of his dream - he was so close to that rabbit now, almost close enough for that final pounce. But his dream slipped away from him, leaving him in darkness and knowing now was the time to get up.
His eyelids fluttered open, squinting as they adjusted to the daylight. They soon focused on his mentor standing in front of him and looking down at him expectantly. His mind, still foggy from having just woken up, finally registered her words. Hunting. Training. He slowly got to his feet, stretching out his body to chase away the aches of sleep. Once that was done, he simply nodded at his mentor to indicate that he understood and that he was ready; he had never been one for too many words, if any at all.

After watching Frostpaw get up to his feet and stretch away his sleep, she turned and slipped out of the den. At his nod, she nodded back, and flicked her tail for him to follow. She padded with her head up and her tail drifting in the air nonchalantly. She decided they would just go to a smaller park, there were usually less twolegs. There were also less squirrels and pigeons, but there were still enough to hunt for. She didn't want to go to the big park yet until she was confident in Frostpaw's skills. She still wasn't totally sure about his hunting skills - speed was a necessity for hunting squirrels and pigeons, and he was always lettings his paws trip him up. This would something she would have to pay attention too, and make sure to train out of him. As he grew, she hoped he'd fill out. "We are going to practice some climbing today. Sometimes, the easiest way to get that squirrel is to just follow it to its nest. But you have to be precise, and you have to be careful." She meowed as she padded towards the park. The walk wasn't too much concern - this small sector of the city didn't tend to be too busy. Although it was still safest to keep an eye open for dangers.

Frostpaw raised his nose to the air as he followed his mentor, inhaling the various scents of the city around them. He remembered as a kit that it had taken him a while to get used to the mixture of different scents - some of the scents had been too strong and overwhelmed his small nose - but now he was accustomed to the unusual smells of the city. Still, every so often one of the human's monsters would roar past them and he couldn't help but screw up his nose at the fumes they left behind.
He sped up his pace slightly so that he was walking alongside Doveheart, though still kept a pace or two behind her. He nodded again to show he had heard her. A flick of his tail at the mention of climbing was the only indication of the increasing doubt in his mind; he could barely stay on his paws while running on the ground, let alone while climbing a tree. He was still determined to try his best, however, and he set an aim to catch at least one squirrel today.

Doveheart noticed the slight tense at the mention of climbing, but she didn't respond. The only way to improve was to practise, and she wouldn't go easy on him. After crossing a thunderpath - which was no issue to Doveheart, as she'd become accustomed to crossing them - they made it to the park. There were smaller paths that wound around the grassy area, as well as trees splattered around. There were a few bushes, and tables and chairs that were good for hiding. Already Doveheart could see pigeons roaming around and pecking at the ground. She wanted to find a squirrel though. She turned to Frostpaw, "Keep your nose up and mouth open," she said, "you're looking for squirrels. Try not to scare away the pigeons, because as soon as they think there is danger nearby the squirrels will hide too." She flicked her tail for him to follow as she crouched down and slipped into the branches of a bush. Along the way, her underbelly picked up bits of leaves and twigs. She'd be fishing them out later. Under the bush, she open her mouth and felt the scents in the air. Behind all the scents of monsters and twolegs drifting around, behind the tempting pigeons, there was a squirrel. She scanned around for the small, fluffy creature. Nearby it nibbled at seeds, it was in a fairly open space, but it had an easy run to a tree for escaping. Doveheart spotted it, but didn't alert Frostpaw. She wanted him to find it for himself. She wanted to watch him do it himself.
[Going to bed now. I'm working tomorrow so won't be on until the afternoon but might post when I'm on my break or something just to check in. Night!]

As soon as his paws hit the grass of the park, Frostpaw could feel his nerves building up. He suddenly felt more self-conscious of his slightly overly-sized paws that he still hadn't grown into, and his pawsteps felt too heavy when he knew that to hunt you had to be light and quick on your feet. He knew that this was one of his problems when out hunting: he always overthought every one of his actions, when it should really be coming instinctively to him.
Trying to push his negative thoughts to the back of his mind, he followed his mentor underneath the bush, crouching down to do so and making sure not to alarm any nearby pigeons. He inhaled deeply, attempting to filter through all the scents in the air. There were the distinctive fumes of the monsters that were hard to look beyond, and then the overwhelming scents of all the pigeons nearby. But beyond that, he thought anyway, was the faint scent of a squirrel. His gaze slowly scanned the park until they landed on the creature only a short distance. He glanced at his mentor and, seeing her look at him, gestured to the animal with a small tilt of his head, indicating that he had spotted it.

[ I'm trying to figure out who should mentor Sedgepaw lmao. She's loud and rash and goofy. I think she should have a mentor who is firm and strict to put her in her place. We can RP Sedgepaw and either of yours (since Sedgepaw is my only apprentice lol)
I made Rabbitspring be Amberpaw's mentor - he is chill.
Also, Kestrelclaw and Mistykit are part of Willowstorm's fam. ]

That sounds great.
And I can't wait to see Kestrelclaw and Mistykit. Fogkit was originally gonna be Mistykif but then I change his name and gender)

[ Yeah, I might go with that if you're chill with that. And he can be as strict with her as he wants.
Oh, what a coincidence! Haha
How about we start with mentors and apprentices going training, or hunting? ]
