Np! Yeah I can understand, I have intrusive thoughts too so I had a similar issue as well, though I wasn't torn away from God as long as you. Glad that you know the truth now though! me too

Stranger Things and Silverstar0 I will be praying for you both.
@fool of hearts What do you think about my situation with these spirits? From my point of view and understanding is that they don't doubt that there is God, but. I've never heard them say it, it's like they're mute or Im deaf. I can tell when they're trying to talk but I cant hear them.

Of course He won't! He loves you If you need prayer or someone to talk to, we're always here! thanks bud. i know He loves me, but ugh, when i spent about four years thinking i was a horrible, horrible person for my intrusive thoughts, i was so torn away from God, because i thought He never could i'm so happy i know different now. im gonna be rly vulnerable for once and hope nobody here judges me. i use to have a Big Problem with sexually intrusive thoughts. i didn't want them and just wished they would go away, and was so worried that God would be angry at me for it, or that i was sinning and was in a serious state of sin a lot of the time. finally i plucked up the courage to ask a priest about it, and i think his counsel was good: basically, because i neither invited such thoughts nor wanted to dwell on them, i was at no fault and was not sinning. i mean it's one thing if you were to dwell on them, but if we push them away then it means were are avoiding temptation, not falling into it. in fact, having the will to push them away makes God proud of us, not ashamed i know this information really helped me so maybe it'll comfort you a bit.

I'm sure you're gunna go far kid (my puns are terrible, I'm sorry) but I started today and it was really kind of hard because the scedual changed from when we had orginally set me up (which was before June *cringes*) so we had to make some changes and now I have both art 20 and 30 (so 11 and 12) in the same semester lolz RIP I am sorry to hear that

y'all have i ever told you about how i used to think my intrusive thoughts were from the devil/the devil trying to make me do things and i literally cried so much all the time. sorry that was random but they're bad again today and i'm just thankful that i at least have the assurance that they're from anxiety and God isn't gonna end me to hell for them. Sorry to hear that, glad you're secure in your knowledge now. Hope you keep getting better

@bolderpelt Saint Ambrosef - Everyone has bad thoughts. Feeling guilty about them and not wanting them is evidence of the Spirit in you. Like Shadow said, as long as you continue to deny them, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

ok i know people like me are usually kicked out of these types of places but I mean I just saw dark dungeons and I was wondering as religious people yourselves, what your opinion on either the comic strip or the movie is? if you have seen it? basically it's about the 'dangers' of roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, the comic strip released in the 80's and the movie was released in like 2007 or smth personally i thought it was stupid, but in turn i am kinda curious??? ah i feel really embarrassed asking this oops Hey you ain't gettin kicked outta nowhere, everyone's welcome here. No need to feel embarrassed, that's a good question Never heard of it before now. The synopsis on Wikipedia looks stupid though. Sounds like one of those super preachy scare tactic things that try to convince Christians they're going to hell if they dare to do anything that the rest of society also does. I think D&D and similar games are ok as long as you understand that they're just games and have no bearing on the real world. The chances of somebody getting sucked into witchcraft by playing a dice game are very slim. Some people are weak-minded, of course, and will fall into that sort of stuff super easily (like those 12-year-old girls who tried to sacrifice their friend to Slenderman because of a Slenderman story they read on the Internet), but there are a lot of problems we should probably focus on before we worry about frickin' Dungeons and Dragons.

Also, um hey guys. We just lost a family friend in a motorcycle accident today. He was a follower of Christ but please, can you pray for his family.
And that's the thing Hearts, I cant hear them so they cant refuse or declare Jesus is Lord.

I'll pray that God grants them (and you) comfort and peace. ♡ Secondly, hmm... my immediate reaction would be not to trust them, as they're not being clear in their intentions; all I can say is that there are common characteristics of evil spirits and I would be wary of them.

Memer Supremer hits the nail on the head. Once again. Culture is not inherently sinful. If something tempts or causes you to sin, don't take part in it. Otherwise, "Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him; but the things that come out of a man, these are what defile him (Mark 7:15)."

My depression is bad for this. :/ Perhaps some comfort can be found in Romans 7:14-25. Even the apostle Paul struggled with this. Every Christian has two distinct natures: that of the flesh, which tempts us and wants nothing to do with God, and that of the Spirit, which fights against and resists temptation. Because we are only human, we will always struggle with bad thoughts and we will still mess up on occasion. "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord", we are delivered. When we fall, He picks us back up. There is some comfort in knowing that you are fighting... it means you've got the will to fight. Ah, I love ya'll. Keepin' it real.
