Yeah, so I've been gone for a couple months, and I'm back and in the mood to RP. I kinda want something on the simple side for this one - nothing too intense. I've been doing a lot of plot-heavy, action-y roleplays lately, so I'm looking for something a bit more light-hearted right now. I also feel in the mood for a bit of romance as well, but I need to cover something first: I don't really do roleplays that focus primarily on romance as its driving point, and most of my characters are not the type to "fall in love at first sight". I like well-developed characters and well-developed romances.
But putting that aside, I'm actually craving a high-school type roleplay. I know, I know, that's really cliche, but to be honest, I haven't done a high school roleplay in a few years. Hence my desire for a more light-hearted roleplay. To be more specific, I want to roleplay the relationship between a popular, financially well-off student and a quiet student who keeps to themselves and may not have the best home life or be all that financially stable.
That said, the popular student's life doesn't have to be perfect either - maybe they have a few well-hidden issues of their own that they hide really well. I basically want these two characters, whose lifestyles are very different, to interact and form bonds and learn from each other, if that makes sense.
Okay. Now that I've made clear what I'd like to RP, now it's just a matter of going over a few last things: One, I'll be roleplaying a female character for this, and I'd like my partner to roleplay a male character. I'm not against same-gender romances, but I'll be honest when I say that I prefer male/female relationships. It's just my personal preference.
Two, I like semi-advanced to advanced roleplay partners. I don't really go out of my way to match post length, but that doesn't mean I won't give you quality responses. Some may be average length, some may turn out to be monstrous in length, but I always give my best effort for each reply, and so far that's worked for me.
Three, I am not always active. I'm pretty bad for vanishing for certain periods of time, but be assured that if I do end up doing that to you, I'll always be back eventually, even if it's just to ask if you're still interested in roleplaying.
And that should be everything. I don't expect to get any takers right away, but I'll be checking in somewhat frequently.
