Birdsong shuffled out backwards from the nursery, looking rather awkward but in the moment finding it the best way to go, she left the queen in peace. Spiderblossom had delivered healthy looking kits today with Hollowpaw's help, and sure that was a great thing but Birdsong just felt that familiar feeling of dark walls barricading her in and making her feel hollow yet claustrophobic. "Stonepelt is going to be great for those kits," she thought, a small smile forming on her face and quickly being replaced by her usual solemn domineer. Birdsong let out a low groan as she stretched in the clearing, her legs feeling like stones from lack of sleep she couldn't explain, but that had always seemed to greet her each night in her nest.

Giving his muzzle a good lick before he rose to his paws and headed for Birdsong, he wondered how she was doing. "Birdsong!" He mewed friendly with a hint of something else, he stopped in front of her.

The she-cat stopped mid-stretch, to look over, "Huh?" She replied, gathering herself and licking down a few tufts of independent chest tufts that wanted to go their own messy way. "Hey there Icyfern," Birdsong dipped her head and smiled pleasantly; a rather small smile that Birdsong usually gave. She always appreciated being talked to outside of her duties. A lot of times she found that her only source of interaction was when dealing with her clan-mate's hectic lives and injuries where they'd thank her and move on. The tom-cat was one of the pawful that conversed with her like that, along with Finchstar and Lighteningstep and one or two warriors.
