Thank you! I was originally thinking of going for a look inspired by the ghosts in Lovesick Dead (alternately Undying Love), but that was both too creepy and beyond my skill level. So instead we have this ghost which I’m not totally sure how to describe but which was fun to color and turned out pretty nice!

There is actually a white cat in the scene from TRoS shown in panel three, although I moved the cats around a little.
Also, in TRoS, the cats definitely eat paper.

Scourge has his back claws reinforced too because that's how the founder of BloodClan does things.
The last panel is sort of supposed to be the time he gives a speech to Ruby and Socks. I think that scene is interesting because, although he isn't a gracious host, he also doesn't do the most obvious thing for the revenge-obsessed Scourge to do, i.e. kill them on the spot. Anyway, the image of that panel is jumping ahead a bit (as you can see from the number of teeth in Scourge's collar), but I wanted to draw it.

I keep wanting to respond to this post, but it's hard to come up with a constructive response when I'm also trying to be opaque about the story. But I guess...Fang's been around for a long time and personally met Scourge (and Frost), so he definitely has a lot of thoughts on the whole thing.

The other night, I dreamed that this comic was called Smoke and Mirrors. Smoke (the silver tabby who first appeared on page 23 and has been in a couple of panels of Fang's story) was a very important character, and so was my real-life friend "Martenclaw." Smoke tried to steal Martenclaw's glasses (which he doesn't wear) directly off his face while walking past. There was even more of a theme of deception, because Martenclaw was pretending to be part of BloodClan while really planning a rebellion, and Smoke was pretending to have everything under control when things were going off the rails, in addition to Tadpole pretending to be Glass. Also, the characters were all human, but I inexplicably referred to Martenclaw, and only him, as a cat.

Aww, Scourge looks like Toothless...!
Did you notice the retcon here? I pointed this out previously in the comments, but in The Rise of Scourge, he kills Tigerstar with his right paw...but in that panel, his right paw is black instead of white. So I said: if there is a blatant inconsistency then I can choose either the right paw or the black paw! And I chose the black paw...without realizing that, on page 9, when Vice says something happened in the forest, I already showed Scourge killing Tigerstar with his right paw.
Well, I guess, I lied before! He used his left paw, actually! So there. Also on page 9 I forgot to give Tigerstar a ripped ear, so...page 9 is just one big mistake.

Thank you! Cinder is a blue ticked tabby, with the peach underside being more like what you would see in a blue Abyssinian than most other blue ticked tabbies.
