Harlan, Nevada -
A once small town that was hardly visible on a map has begun to boom. Some locals are excited by growth of the town while others are not. It's only a matter of time before criminals make their statement. The law enforcement doesn't have much experience with crime other than petty theft and small trades as it reaches a point where it's difficult to control. When Muse A hears of Harlan, they believe it's a wonderful opportunity to start anew after their stint in a low security jail. Muse A takes their right hand man/woman to start with a clean slate.
However, Muse A's former friend & rival, Muse B, has moved to Harlan & is making their rounds in the community. As they appear to be a friendly, hard working person, they're starting a large business within the town. It's really a cover for an underground group (gang, mafia, etc. / we can decide.)
Of course, Muse A hasn't caught wind of it until one of Muse B's henchman approaches them with the opportunity to get involved with the business. Muse A realizes that the deal sounds oddly familiar, not to mention fishy. Muse A joins the group and learns from Muse B that they need their help - and they're desperate for it too. With their common enemy on the rise, the two must team up for their own benefits.
Will they be able to handle their opponent or will things end sour?
