So, we seem to be doing a combination of 2017 wrap-ups combined with goals for 2018, and I figured I'd join in. 2017 was a hard year for me. My mental health really took a hit, especially around the same time school started back up again in September, and I'm just now starting to feel like I might have it a little bit under control (relatively speaking) again. I've grown apart from friends I've had for years. But as hard of a year as it was, good things happened, too. - I'm 2/3rds of the way through culinary school, and gotten some of the best grades this year I've ever gotten
- I got a really, really cool job
- I've gotten closer with some of my online friends
- I completed NaNoWriMo, and have outlined two future (non-fanfic) projects I'm very excited about
- I read 163 books over the course of the year
- I came out to a friend, and it went really well
And, I have big plans for 2018. - Finish and edit at least one original novel
- Finish Water Dark & Forest Deep, The Spaces in Between, and The Graveyard Queen
- Get another really awesome job, preferably to work with chocolate
- Read at least 150 books
- Start blogging and bookstagramming again
- Start taking more writing craft classes
And I also want to stick around here. I started writing with you guys. You all helped me improve my craft, encouraged me, and supported me in ways that I will always remember. And hey, maybe I took a year off. But now that I'm back, I plan to stick around.
I hope you have a fantastic 2018

Wow! Thats all amazing! I'm sorry to hear that you've gone through a tough time, but it looks like you've accomplished tons this year either way, so congrats! (also wow 163 books, that's awesome!) I hope this year things continue to improve, and I'm sure you'll find lots of success!

Wooh! I love that book goal! That's something I always love making! I'm glad that, even though 2017 was a tough time, that you still had good points to look back on. <3 Hope that 2018 brings even more highlights!
