He was alright until he turned into an ultranationalist when he became leader.

I think I heard he was in the excerpt? What did he do? I already have a good guess of course, but I'm still curious.

I think I heard he was in the excerpt? What did he do? I already have a good guess of course, but I'm still curious. So Onestar, Emberfoot, Furzepelt and Oatclaw according to them spotted rogues in ThunderClan's territory (Darktail and his crew) they came into ThunderClan territory to ask them why they were there and to see them off (with the plan to tell ThunderClan after having done so) This apprently (according to Onestar) provoked the Rogues into fighting them. ThunderClan arrive and help see them off...However Furzepelt dies (I think it was stated that she hit her head) , Emberfoot and Oatclaw are severely injured and Onestar loses a life. When Onestar awakens after losing a life, he tells the ThunderClan patrol what happened then proceeds to try and head home despite the fact that his two remaining warriors in his patrol are critically injured. Jayfeather and Alderpaw (both were apart of the patrol to help WindClan fight off the rogues) advise Onestar that they all should stay in the ThunderClan camp a few days to recover. Onestar is stubborn of course for much longer than he needed to be after being told more than once that Kestrelflgiht might not be able to help them in time before they die to their wounds.

Woahhhhh I've seen Onestar do some crazy stuff, but first off, 1. Onestar- and WindClan- haven't been in ThunderClan territory- no, willingly been in ThunderClan territory since the eclipse battle. It's sketchy already that they apparently "tried to drive out rogues in ThunderClan territory"- that's totally not like them. They couldn't care less about ThunderClan ._." they would just shrug and say "ThunderClan's problem" or at the most, follow the rogues along the border to make sure they didn't enter WindClan territory. I call foxdung, I bet they were there either stealing prey or planning another attack or something. 2. Holy smokes, those rogues are crazy. I have a feeling WindClan weren't seeking them out- they were ambushed- but still, they beat the carp out of WindClan, and they aren't terrible fighters either. If even a small group of those rogues can kill 2 cats and leave 2 others almost dead, no doubt they can wipe out a clan. But yeah, am I the only one looking at Onestar's story and... totally not believing it?

If they're close enough to the border that Onestar and his group could spot them and crossover, then who's to say these cats don't go into their territory eventually? Onestar may be a stubborn jerk, but even he is smart enough to question a strange group of cats on clan territory where they should not be. The norm was a few loners now and then, but a group of rouges together? That's very suspicious. I feel like Onestar only really did it to make sure they don't go into his territory, or maybe...he wanted ThunderClan to show him some sort of gratitude. Like when he sent cats to help with the badgers, but it looked like he was gloating over ThunderClan needing his help. I bet if he had driven out the rogues he'd be snidy toward ThunderClan about being unable to protect their own territory.

Onewhisker = Cowardly Onestar = Utter trash Onewhisker = Awesome Onestar = Can burn in Hell. Onewhisker was cowardly. The reason people questioned his leadership was because of his close relationship with Firestar from ThunderClan. Even when his own clan leader died, he let Firestar announce it, and also say that Tallstar chose him as the new leader. He was too scared to tell them himself, and didn't even want to be leader in the first place, Firestar had to convince him for Tallstar's sake. And not only that, Brambleclaw, Firestar and Onewhisker all with held information; Tallstar not using the proper ceremonial words to appoint Onewhisker deputy, nor having a proper witness. And instead of fighting his own battles, Onewhisker relied heavily on Firestar's help against Mudclaw. It's no wonder his leadership is a mess, he was never suited for anything more than being a warrior. He should have stepped down and let Mudclaw be leader.

Ah yeah, I get that we don't know for sure, but I'm still in awe that Onestar was actually outside his own camp, let alone on a patrol, let alone one that just happens to be on ThunderClan territory. He could be telling the truth, I'm just saying the whole thing looks off in general and I'm personally having trouble swallowing it ^^"
