I'm in a few smaller groups where it's 2-3 charries and 4-5 people you really just have to find the right ones?
there's a few big groups but most of them aren't huge? or if they are, it's just because the front page hasn't been updated in forever

Im in a few clans that are "larger" i suppose, but most of the people are hardly on, so its actually just three of four cats rping at once.
Im in a few nice Rps if you wanna join some, they're not too big....

Most people do so because their roleplay partners can become inactive (school, work) so they don't want to just be hanging around waiting for them to respond so people create many characters so they can fully enjoy the experience and roleplay with everybody and be inclusive. It may seem large, but people go in and out of roleplays all the time and people nowadays on here are getting older tbh and have other responsibilities so sometimes you have to wait a bit to get a response from someone, so it's best to have many characters interacting with many people so you have the best opportunity for a reply.
This is just my opinion, so I could be completely wrong but it's just what I've seen, sorry if this doesn't apply to other people/I got it wrong.

Hey there, welcome back to the forums! I recently came back to the forums myself, and I hope you enjoy your time here :3
I will say that there are definitely newer clans out there on the smaller side (I'm in a few myself), though they might be harder to find. These new forums are less active than the old forums though since there are less people and many of them are busy with their lives and such, but if you find a good clan you should still be able to get good replies several times a day if you're on at the right time^^ You can always try roleplaying 1x1 too; sometimes that can allow you to rp more frequently.
