i haven’t been on the wff in forever. i made a post in otd awhile ago, anywaaays going on here brings so many memories. the new year brought back a lot of nostalgia for me, seeing as previous New Years i celebrated with my friends on here. this year i celebrated with myself. lame. i really tool the wcf for granted, which is silly bc it’s really just a cat site but i wouldn’t be the person nor writer i am today without it or the wff especially!
my grammar probably doesn’t make much sense. apologies.
anyways i still remember the first fan fiction i posted on here - well, on the old wcf back in 2015 or 2016. really not that long ago but it feels like ages. it was really bad but i spent a lot of time on it, only to ditch it maybe two chapters in because another fic i had recently started got more attention and thus, came my barely-there fan fiction fame!! i mean i obviously wasn’t famous nor popular at all but i got a few friends, some critiques, and as a young writer, even with my terrible world, it made me feel really valued. so thanks for that wcf. id love to thank ppl like mads123, dingoleap, the lore keeper, cakeengland, tuesday, eyesofthestsrs, shadowface, and well, tansypath. there are a lot of people who helped me with my work, even as i transitioned from cat fanfic to the original stories i do today, thanks. even if all you did was inspire me with ur marvelous works thanks.
i barely write now. lack of motivation. no ideas. its frustrating but ill get thru this block. happy new year and love all of u!!! ive just been feeling very nostalgic today and had to take a quick peek back here. hope you’re all doing very good
