"Fox?" Hickory asked the other cats on the patrol. A prickle of uneasiness ran down his spine. Foxes weren't easy to fight off. It would take more that just a pawful of cats to drive it away. Hopefully it won't stumble across the camp, he fretted, feeling queasy. The camp that they had just finished building. It would be a pain to have to repair it all so soon, especially with kits in the nursery. Well, whatever happens, we'll deal with it, he thought. We're rogues. We're tough enough to get through anything.

Careful not to make her presence so apparent, the dark gray she-cat observed the conversation in the shadows; after all, risking her life to drive off a pesky animal with even peskier cats didn't bode well with the manipulative being. No, she would be more than pleased to watch how such a fight turned out. Purring in ominous amusement, Crow allowed herself a luxurious stretch.
[This is her starter; I'm open for responses. :3]

Nodding eagerly, the apprentice swished her tail excitedly, ready for the prospect of danger. "Lets go, what are we standing around for?" she asked impatiently, flexing her claws as she sank them into the earth beneath her. It was clear the young molly was ready to head out.

Pine watched the other cats warily. She had hoped that her warning would keep the other cats in camp, but maybe the fact reinforcements were going out was a good thing and her blatant cowardice would be rewarded rather than punished. The hair on the back of her neck prickled uneasily.

Sybil noticed Pine's apprehension at leaving the camp unattended, paired by Hickory's uneasiness at the sound of a fox. Wrinkling her nose, the apprentice rolled her eyes at their responses, tail tip twitching eagerly. "I've got a good nose, I'll just go find it since you guys just wanna stand around!" Her tone was laced with confidence as she swiveled on her heels and trotted swiftly toward the entrance of camp, tail told up high in the air.

Salmon was chewing on the mouse in the nursery. She stopped when she heard Grimm sit just outside and she pricked her ears, watching the entrance cautiously. Grimm poked his head inside the nursery and chuffed loudly. "Still just you, huh kitten?" he meowed in a clumsy attempt to be friendly towards the young cat. "Good thing you're old enough to eat some fresh kill since we don't have any nursing queens." he mused, half to himself and half wondering how the kit felt about it, "It must seem like you're almost an apprentice, huh?"

(Hey guys, instead of asking if people are open can you please just make a post that can be replied to?. Also, Daisy and I have a plot rabbit for everyone. ;3)
Dark let out a low growl as she picked up the scent of fox again much stronger than before. Bones crouched down with her and sniffed the ground like a dog to pick up the scent trail, "Everyone! There's going to be trouble." she said sternly, "There's at least three foxes here..." she turned around to face the others. "We need backup."
Dark nodded and turned back, "Pine g-" the leader looked confused and alarmed, "Where are Pine and Lily!?"

Pine anxiously dipped her head into the rogue's den, trying to be unseen she curled into the dark far corner, peeping out through a small crack in the thicket to watch the rest of camp. She felt guilty for ditching, and now an apprentice would be outshining her in doing the right thing. I'm a coward. Dark is going to kill me!" she thought anxiously, gulping even though her mouth was dry with guilt. She froze as her new brethren bounded out of camp.

Bones' clouded eyes narrowed at the small she-cat. She didn't believe a word of what they were saying, though she admitted that the arrival of the others was convenient timing and the apprentice did come back. However she thought it was suspicious Pine would send back the apprentice who would be in much greater danger instead of returning herself. Something smelled wrong and it was more than just the fox stench.
Dark's expression remained a little confused, but she addressed the cats, "There's at least three foxes on this side of the river. They're most likely holed up in a cave and it's getting to be dark so we should find their den and drive them out or kill them before they ake up and scatter to hunt tonight. Lily, you go with Bones and Raven, the rest of you, come with me!" she flicked her tail and bounded up the opposite side of the ravine, hoping to corner the foxes.
