Even though the default profile picture is an adorable hamster, I want to change it. Can someone help me with that plz? I've tried a few times to write the link of the picture I wanted but it says its invalid, even when i try to get pics from my own laptop it doesn't work : (

heres a list of simple steps to change your profile picture
- click on "profile" in the green tabs that say home, search, members, profile, et cetera
- click on "edit profile". It should be the green button beside "send message" and is listed right below the blue tab "roleplay profiles"
- after that, it should immediately open up to a place where you can change you avatar.
there are three different ways. or, four, in a sense.
one is you can use the adorable default hamster avatar.
the second is an uploaded photo from either your phones camera roll, or from your computer pictures.
the third would be a link of a photo (one the typically has the .jpg at the end) (like this: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3a/Cat03.jpg/1200px-Cat03.jpg )
and the fourth, i believe, is a link, plus the picture from your camera roll. (i'm not sure how to explain this one)
BUT
when picking which setting to put as our avatar (whether it be by link or upload) make sure you click on the gray circle so it gets filled in with your option.
then, you click on the underlined link of which you would prefer.
if you want a link, it will ask you to put the .jpg link into the link spot, then click "link image"
but if you wish for an upload, it will have you click on a "select image" link.
once you have you link/image selected/ placed down, you click "save avatar changes" and then you're good to go!
Rememnber, images are only allowed to be 150px by 150px to be actually visible. well, that is what is recommended.

 Click on the bubble next to "Use only the uploaded/linked".  Decide which method you want to use.  If you use the link, it should look something like this.  If you use a photo from your computer it should look like this, unless you are doing it from your phone then your camera roll will pop up.  Save the photo by clicking the button squared off in red. |

Thanks so much guys! I was really confused of how to do it but it's cleared up by now. I really appreciate the detailed responses and for your patience since I'm pretty new to the forums
