You stumble deep into the heart of GemClan territory, your head held high proudly. First day into unknown territory, and you'd already caught a thrush and fought off a fox. Your fur prickled suddenly; someone was watching! You dart under a bush, but it's too late. A snarl explodes from the undergrowth and tackles you to the ground. The attacker grabs your scruff and pins you to the ground. "What's your business here, foreigner?" A voice growls. You, being the proud loner you are, hiss in response, and the attacker slams you onto the hard ground, knocking you unconscious.
You wake up in total darkness, and your limbs feel as stiff as branches. Ouch, you think as you stretch them out gingerly. They all seem to be fine, not broken. You give yourself a quick wash and sit up, wondering where you are. You notice a small light heading towards you, illuminating its surroundings. You stare in wonder, and soon you realize the light is actually a crystal being carried in a cat's mouth! Too dumbstruck to be wary, you pad forward, the crystal mesmerizing you, washing everything near in a cold, white ambiance.
"Welcome, stranger, to our Clan, GemClan. I am Serenestar, leader of the Clan of precious stones. What brings you here?"
You don't know how to reply, and that makes Serenestar chuckle. "Ah, this light has that effect on strangers. You'll soon be given shelter and food for 1 moon. Then you must leave." Her voice commanded respect, and you flattened your ears against your head.
"Come, there is much to do."

 The cavern is surrounded by a pool of shimmering water (it's not as large like in the 1st picture). The water is cold as death, and its source is the waterfall that pounds the cavern's outer wall. Sharp rocks hide just beneath the surface, so if any cat is foolish enough to climb up the walls and slip, it's absolute death. Foliage blooms near the shore, and this is where the medicine cat retrieves their herbs.
This is the Cove of Shimmering Gems. The pathway from the outside to the cavern and the pool of water. Precious diamonds glow brightly, showing the way home even on the darkest nights. A small brook cuts through the path, so plenty of fish can be found in this habitat. |

𝕋ℝ𝔸𝔻𝕀𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝕊1) When an apprentice is nearly ready to become a warrior, they must pass a test. The apprentice must swim to the center of the pool, dive deep down and receive a special crystal, any they like. They must use their courage and sensibility to pass this test, because the water is freezing cold, the crystals are very deep, and it is dark underwater. Apprentices who fail are taken out by a Paw-Catcher, a special warrior who is specialized in swimming to fetch the dying apprentice. The cat who fails must live the rest of his life as a Hushed Warrior. A cat who speaks with no one and about nothing except for complaints, urgent messages, or requests.
2) The gem the apprentice collects is to be worn around the neck, tied with twine. It is seen as a token, proof that the cat is brave and clear-sighted enough to be a warrior. The crystal is either a pearl (DONT BUG ME ON THIS), Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot, or Jade. This decides the category they are placed in once they become warriors.
3) When the apprentice passes the test, he is assigned to either the Pearls, the Amethysts, the Garnets, or the Peridots. These are smaller groups within the Clans that do different jobs. Pearls are slender and tall, and are swimmers in the river than leads to the Cavern. Amethysts are hardy warriors that defend and train. Garnets are the special advisers to the Leader and Deputy. Peridots are responsible for tending to the greenery and beauty of the Cavern. They help out the medicine cat with basic herb remedies.

are usually worriers, quick-witted, caring, over-bearing, happy
AMETHYSTS
are usually rowdy, hardy, tough, honest, courageous, sensible
GARNETS
are usually pushy, friendly, hyper, patient, jumpy, loners, excellent swimmers |

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE - _______ Onyxclaw padded through the forest, her black fur shimmering in the moon light. Scenting mouse, she dropped to a hunter's crouch. The mouse was just a tail length away now, she jumped. Wind flying through her fur, Onyxwing landed on the mouse, breaking its neck, and killing it. She picked up her catch and padded back to camp.
PERSONALITY - ______ Onyxwing is a fun loving she cat, that can be quite stubborn at times. She loves the feel of wind in her fur, and is the fastest runner in the clan.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION - ______ Onyxwing is a pure black she cat, with long limbs, and cold blue eyes that seem to glow ever since she came out from the crystal pool. Her Pearl gem has a light blue hue to it, and is tied tightly to her neck by black twine.
