b l i z z a r d s t a r & c r o w p a w training hollow Blizzardstar took in her apprentice's words and finally nodded. "You're right. I'm just used to old ways." she purred, looking proud of Sweetpaw for standing up for Crowpaw. When her apprentice asked about her turn, Blizzardstar's whiskers twitched with amusement. "You can try now, but if you hunt in the trees, be wary. We have only trained a little in that part, so don't go too high." Her warning didn't sound like a mentor informing an apprentice of the dangers, but more like a concerned mother silently begging her kit not to go. She decided that if Sweetpaw were close to falling, she'd risk one of her lives to break her fall. Of course, she shouldn't spend her lives without proper consideration, but she didn't want to see a young cat be sent off to StarClan so early.
"I can guide her if you'd like." Crowpaw offered, surprising her leader. "Though I wouldn't recommend the tree I was in, the branches were thinner, and you don't have enough training under your pelt to handle it. Sorry, Sweetpaw." Crowpaw explained. She pointed at an oak tree with her tail. "Bumblesting used that tree for me to learn how to climb. We should use that so Sweetpaw has an easier time hunting and can learn how to hunt in a tree." she added on. Crowpaw, despite still wanting to lay in her nest, wanted to make it up to Sweetpaw for defending her. The young apprentice was bold enough to back Blizzardstar down, though Crowpaw could tell that Sweetpaw was precious to Blizzardstar, almost like a kit of her own. It was becoming more obvious with how she let her get by with such words and actions. Crowpaw would entertain herself by watching the pair bond and grow together. "C'mon, this way!" she exclaimed and dashed to the oak tree, climbing up swiftly and silently.
b r a m b l e h e a r t training hollow Annoyance flared up in Brambleheart, who turned to face the gray and white tom. "Boulderpaw, keep your voice down!" he scolded. Gaining courage, the tom padded to the apprentice, his green eyes on fire. "Do you want to alert every piece of prey in the forest?!" he added on, giving a big huff and settling down on his haunches. He shut his eyes tight and opened to look at Amberstone. "Where are you wanting to go. I saw Bumblesting, Blizzardstar and their apprentices go that way." he mewed, pointing with his tail. "Leopardcloud and her group went that way." His ginger tail flicked in another direction. He hoped Badgerpaw was up for hunting. Brambleheart thought that his apprentice would be disappointed, but he couldn't read hm well. Though he could imagine that the apprentice wanted a rematch against Crowpaw. Maybe he could squeeze in a battle training session with Amberstone and Boulderpaw after they hunted.

At his mentor's kind praise, Foxpaw let out a rumbling purr. He was proud of his technique, and though he was not a cat who purposefully sought out praise, he was nevertheless glad to receive it. "I'll keep that in mind next time," he nodded, agreeing with Dovespeck's assessment. He thought about climbing an adjacent tree for next time; that way he could keep his scent from his prey a bit better.
The russet tom got to his paws at the sight of the rustling, his claws unsheathed. Thankfully, he was downwind of the prey rooting around in the bush up ahead, and could simply rely on his speed and stealth. The tom quietly stalked forward toward the bush, his paws barely making a sound as his tail lifted, careful not to stir the leaves on the floor.

a p p l e f r o s t c a m p "Of course! We've always lived in the gorge. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!" she exclaimed and turned as she heard a commotion outside. The she-cat pushed forward, nudging Luka behind her. "Cardinalwing, Juniperleap, it's okay. Mudfur's right. He was going to sleep after some stories. Nothing to worry about. Blizzardstar beat him easily!" she added onto Mudfur's explanation. [ Sorry for the short post!]

Sweetpaw grinned, the words of her mentor making the she-cat happier. "Got it." Mewing quietly, she couldn't help but feel her fur tingle in confusion. It sounded much more different than a mentor-to-apprentice warning. However, shaking off the thought, the molly nodded. "I'm sure I'll be fine. Don't worry so much, Blizzardstar."
Turning to Crowpaw, striped tail couldn't help but wiggle confidently. Looking up to the tree the senior was just in, she nodded, taking full notice to how thin the branches had seemed. They didn't have a.. sturdy look to them. Although, it was evident that any cat could mistake the branches as thick. Nodding to the black female, she couldn't help but shrug. "No it's alright! It's completely understandable." Hearing her next words, Sweetpaw turned to the oak tree the older one referred to. Slowly, she looked up, attempting to size up the tree. Steadily, she blinked, realizing she had came to her decision on how she would do all of this.
Nodding, she smiled lightly. "Seems reasonable, huh?" Turning to her mentor, she shrugged slightly, a bright smile still plastered onto her face. "Don't worry, okay?"
Sweetpaw turned back around and followed after Crowpaw happily, tail high in the air. The she-cat couldn't help but think with determination. I'm going to make her proud. I won't screw this up either.
She arrived to the base of the tree, and looking up, the she-cat couldn't help but gulp in nervousness. The tree was awfully big, and she didn't know if she'd lose grip, however, it was worth to try. Steadily, she jumped upwards, landing onto the bark of the tree. Her claws were unsheathed, and dug right into it. With a small huff, the blotchy yet striped female lifted one paw, as if testing her grip, flexing her right paw repeatedly. Realizing she had a grip, she started off climbing lento. Shaking off the thoughts, she climbed upwards in a faster pace. Before she knew it, she was standing on the surface of the tree branch. A small sigh of relief escaping her as she looked down, a smile on her face. Sweetpaw couldn't help but think, this is only climbing, it wasn't that hard.

"We've always lived in the gorge," the she-cat's words caused the tom to pause, glancing back at her. "That's not true," Luka muttered under his breath, startled by how intensely he felt about his words. He wasn't sure how he knew that Applefrost's statement was false - but he just did. The twolegplace cats never talked about the clan that lived in the gorge except for biting remarks, never stories or legends. The loner met Applefrost's eyes, sharp amber holding leaf-green for a heartbeat. They were close enough that the young cat could make out the shape of her eyes just barely. The green of her eyes were vivid though, brilliant and intense in their hue, and the moment of contact felt like an eternity. Luka then glanced away, bristling uncomfortably. He felt like a ghost had just passed through him, a chill shivering it's way down his spine.
The cat then realized that he was probably making the cat - cats, judging by the two names used, at the entrance nervous and forced his fur to lie flat in order to seem nonthreatening. It's not like I can harm you or anything, I'm in the middle of your camp being watched like a kit! Luka scowled internally, but kept silent.

Boulderpaw flattened his ears and let out a silent hiss at how Brambleheart, his attitude not pleasing to Boulderpaw. He had to hold his tongue tho, seeing he was a warrior, and Boulderpaw was an apprentice. "Amberstone?" He mewed, curling his tail around his paws. He was itching to get started, his little group was one of the last to start, and he was growing very impatient.

Dovespeck dipped her head at her apprentice, allowing him to take the reins again. She watched as he moved silently towards the bush. Once again, nervousness pricked her, for she knew not what exactly was in the bush. She silently prayed to Starclan that it wasn't a fox, and maybe a rabbit. She tried to tell herself to relax, and to trust that Foxpaw knew what he was doing, but she was a natural born worry wart, and it was evident in her mentoring. She slid her claws out just in case, you could never be too safe.

Mudfur turned to step back into the warriors den, tiredness dawing his eyelids down. He lowered his head as he stepped into the warriors den, and picked his nest up with his teeth, dragging it over to where Applefrost and Luka. Maybe I'll close my eyes and take a little nap... The hum of Applefrosts voice lulled the young warrior to a light doze. Mudfur was still very much aware of his surroundings.

Partridgehop ; accompanied by Nightwhisper .. {{ ᵏᵉˢᵗʳᵉˡ }} {{ leaving camp }}
With a listless roll of her amber eyes, Partridgehop padded alongside Nightwhisper, only to grow more curious of the fellow warrior. From what she had heard, he wasn't one with words. If anything, he seemed more reticent yet mundane at the same time. She didn't mind that he didn't talk too much for she could talk as long or not at all. Carefully eyeing Blizzardstar's patrol, the feline couldn't help but mutter some words. "Looks like we have a visitor." A faint scowl followed as her eyes narrowed cautiously.
Brushing the sight of Luka off, she turned her head towards the tabby tom besides her nonchalantly compared to her surly comment. "Is there any place you find fit for hunting today, Nightwhisper? Do you have a preference?" the silver patched tabby inquired before her muddy orbs fell upon him.
A more private kind of cat, Partridgehop really did keep to herself. Despite her canny remarks, she felt that being on her own was the best, clever decision she had made in moons. While growing up, her littermates were, to put it frankly, weak. Her mother and father? Cowardly as well. If someone wanted to come out on top, it would be the patched tabby herself. The thoughts of her blood family weren't frequent and when she did think of them, it was just as brief as their lives together had transpired.
However, she found hunting with her clanmate to be more important and appealing. She didn't know what to think of Nightwhisper yet other than she had noticed her comment of "little one" sent him into a silent tizzy. Discreetly, she was satisfied with herself. Of course she wasn't going to say anything about it, at least not yet. Surely there would be a moment reserved for another taunt of Patridgehop's.
"It might help us out if we don't stroll too much," the feline noted coolly.
Picking up the pace, the senior warrior didn't bother to glance back at her denmate. He could take care of himself like she could do the same for herself. If he needed anything, he would say the word. Otherwise, she was going to continue on the path to StarClan knows where and relish in the sun.

Badgerpaw ; accompanied by Brambleheart, Boulderpaw & Amberstone .. {{ ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 & Brindlebriar & 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 }} {{ training hollow }}
Beyond impatient, Badgerpaw had given up on Brambleheart and Amberstone the moment Crowpaw had the chance to climb through the tree tops. Of course she was in one of the first groups while he and Boulderpaw had to sit around. Grumbling in annoyance, his sleek tail began to drum lightly against the forest floor irritably. The moment he heard his mentor say "hunting", he had rolled his eyes multiple times before sighing vehemently.
He was not a fan of hunting at all. Not a single bone in his body cared for the task and there was nothing that could change it. "This hunting expedition of ours better be worth it, Brambleheart," the snowshoe seethed, peaked blue eyes tightening with fury.
At this point, Badgerpaw had considered taking off from his slow, almost lifeless group. Though the consequences of doing that were cleaning out Juniperleap and Snowtail's nests. To him, that sounded like a better idea than hunting with the ginger tabby considered his mentor, his grey and white denmate and another warrior.
"Look, if we're going to stand around like fools, can't we just split up and do our own thing?" the apprentice suggested confidently. "I'm sure we would get a lot more done if we did."
He was more than sure of his proposition and, hopefully, he could get some positive feedback on it. Though a bit of doubt lingered in his mind before brushing it off. With a scoff, a thought followed; like that would happen.

c r o w p a w training hollow Crowpaw was standing three branches above Sweetpaw. "Grab onto that crevice there." Crowpaw instructed as she climbed further up. The black she-cat turned to look around the forest, taking in the sights. She shivered from the cold breeze and looked back down at Sweetpaw. "Are you really that far behind in training to be climbing like that?" the apprentice criticized. She sighed and resisted the urge to pull Sweetpaw up. She had to learn this on her own, but the she-cat couldn't help but regret offering herself to teach the younger cat. Through the branches and leaves, she could spot Badgerpaw and his patrol. They were so small from where she was due to the distance. The she-cat gave a snort, remembering her tussle with the other apprentice and winning due to her brain. Though she didn't leave unscathed, as she had a decent scratch on her hind leg. It stung, but she managed.
b r a m b l e h e a r t training hollow Brambleheart turned around swiftly, letting out a sniff. "Mind your tongue." he told his apprentice, having enough with the two. Of course Blizzardstar had to give him the rowdy bunch and it was the first time the tom ever snapped at his apprentice. He typically let his comments slide, unsure of how to deal with a cat like Badgerpaw. Dandelionstem was a lot easier to handle. The thought of his mate calmed him down. His shell was breaking, that was for sure. He turned to Amberstone and muttered an apology for his apprentice's attitude.
a p p l e f r o s t & c a r d i n a l w i n g c a m p She didn't clearly hear what Luka had said and turned her head to the side. "What did you say?" Applefrost asked. Her head swiveled back to Cardinalwing, who was barging his way into the den. The she-cat sighed and stepped defensively in front of Luka. She was smaller than Cardinalwing, but she was sure she could take him if need be. "Cardinalwing, there's no need to act like this. You heard Mudfur. He won't bother you guys."
"Oh really? Why did she even bring him here? He doesn't look too happy to be here. Perhaps he's part of Badger's gang? His stinks like a twolegplace cat!" the tom howled, looking back at Juniperleap. He hid the concern in his eyes well. "At least bring him out of the damn den. That way our warriors can sleep without that stench." Cardinalwing hissed in irritation. His amber eyes glared at Luka, fury burning bright in them.
"Hush!" Applefrost spat out. She closed her eyes and sighed. "You can go rest somewhere else. We have a hold of him. Why he's here is none of your concern. Blizzardstar has her reasons, now cool it." she mewed calmly, looking back at Luka. "In fact, you can be of help. His paw is hurting, so you can bring me what I need for it." the tortoiseshell mewed. She turned back to Luka and began to look at his paw. "How much does it hurt?" she asked. His paw was pricked by a thorn from what she could tell, but he must have gotten it out. It wasn't a major injury, but a small poultice would work if Luka desired it. Applefrost knew some things about medicine, as she was friends with Stormtrail and often visited the tom. In fact, she had recently visited him for something, but he didn't have time to look her over. "Are you scared of infection?" she asked, looking into his eyes.

(I'm gonna post some starters! Anyone is free to respond) Darkshade - CampDarkshade munched on a squirrel, watching her clanmates from a distance. She wasn't sure if she should ask Blizzardstar if she could go on a patrol or if she should just leave. Even though she'd been a warrior for six moons now, she still felt like she needed to ask permission to leave camp. She thought about her clanmates, wondering which one she should manipulate next. The thought of a cat falling in love with her made her heart skip. She enjoyed feeling loved, and she never got much attention from her brother anymore. He was overprotective of her, but he never really talked to her much. She needed someone to pay attention to her, and she would use to appearance to make any cat she could fall in love with her. She personally had never fell in love before, but it was fun to make others love her then watch them grow sad when she left them for a different cat. She hoped no one would ever be able to break the walls she'd put up around herself.
Waspwing - Forest
Waspwing was out hunting. He'd noticed that the fresh kill pile was dangerously low, so he decided to head out and look for food. He noticed a rustling in the bushes, and looked over to see a squirrel burying an acorn. He crouched down, letting his feet softly grace the ground as he moved forward. With an enormous leap, he flung himself at the squirrel, landing squarely on its shoulders. He bite down on the back of its neck, killing it quickly. He glanced around, wishing someone had seen his great catch. He wasn't the type to brag, but he did love to be praised. In the distance, he spotted a huge tabby slinking through the undergrowth. Suspicion bubbled in his chest. He opened his mouth to taste the air, and the scent of kittypet stung his nose. He turned toward camp, intending to find Blizzardstar and inform her that a kittypet was slinking around Skyclan territory.
[ I have Tigerfrost open, but if you want someone for Darkshade, I'll have to make someone. Unless anyone else wants to fill that spot. SPEAKING OF SPOTS! Who would like the fox attack? I prefer it not be in camp, perhaps one of the other training patrols or a hunting patrol? I want to kinda have more stuff like that to show that the territory is getting more and more dangerous.]

The cream tabby only shook her head and Badgerpaw's comment. It was quite rude, but she didn't comment. "It''s understandable, Brambleheart. You can't always control them." However, the mentor couldn't help but huff at the opposing warrior. Calmly and politely, the molly mewed, "I believe you should watch yourself, as well. He is only an apprentice, and he wasn't that loud." Only to even things out, as if she wasn't singling out Brambleheart, she turned to her apprentice, tone soft yet harsh, "As for you; I advise you mind yourself when we are out here. You could scare away prey if you aren't careful, Boulderpaw."
Amberstone curved back to the directions previously mentioned. "Perhaps we could go in this direction," She pointed with her paw that was straight ahead of them, away from all the other patrols. "I think it would be better if we go in between the two patrols, we would still be close but not too far. And if prey is to scatter, they could possibly run into our direction." A small smile appeared onto her features as she turned to Brambleheart once more, "What do you think?"
&
Sweetpaw shyly nodded, looking up to Crowpaw. She continued to climb upward. "It's a start. I'll only get better." She mewed lightly, continuing to look at Crowpaw with sharp, yet kind eyes. Apprehensively, she looked around before hopping onto another branch, mindful to set her claws into it to bring herself upwards. She pulled herself up fine, almost as if it's coming togetehr for her, and she smiled at Crowpaw. Sweetpaw's eyes were round, and she took in the area around her. The breeze made her come to her senses, and she couldn't help but look around a little frantically. Steadying herself, the calico had shaken her head and decided to try it again. Sniffing once more, she caught the scent of a prey. However, it was to remain unseen to her eyes. Sweetpaw mewed quietly, paws flexing in exhilaration. "Crowpaw, do you smell that? I'm not crazy, am I?"

c r o w p a w training hollow The she-cat nodded and flicked her tail in the direction of Sweetpaw's catch. The black cat maneuvered around the tree, getting a better look at the piece of prey. "Decent size." she whispered to herself. The apprentice resisted the urge to leap forward. She knew she could do it, but it wasn't her catch. Instead she balanced and settled down, getting comfy. She wouldn't save Sweetpaw's hunt. Failure taught just as much as success.
b r a m b l e h e a r t training hollow He held back a remark. The tom hadn't really talked to Amberstone before, but the impression wasn't great. Of course, he was sure he didn't give off a great impression either, but that didn't bother him much. He just wanted this session over. It would have been much easier if they had done battle training, as he could simply watch the group tussle and give pointers. The tom thought her idea was smart, but also a tad bit lazy. Letting another's catch fall into your paws was something he didn't appreciate, but again, he wanted to get Badgerpaw back to camp to start on his duties. He gave a silent nod and motioned for her to lead the way.

Nodding to the approval of her comrade, she began to move forward. Her ears twitched in anticipation as she walked forward quietly. Occasionally looking behind to clarify if the others were following. It shouldn't be too far for the group to walk, She thought to herself. Amberstone did admit, she was being a bit lazy today, to which she shouldn't be, and she was aware of that. Flicking her ears again, the she-cat couldn't help but sniff in happiness. It smelled great to be outside of camp. Turning back to the group, she looked around. "This seemed good enough, yes? The apprentices should get started soon.." She murmured, sitting down to watch the apprentices. In all honesty, it bothered the warrior of how Brambleheart had started the training session. He seemed grumpy, in her opinion. That can only be for today though. She knew better than to make judgement on others the first time when meeting. A small smile appeared as her tail wrapped around her paws. Amberstone did admit, it was a good area; it was slightly open, with giant surrounding trees around. Looking up, a squirrel caught the attention of her eyes. This area should be good.
&
Sweetpaw nodded to Crowpaw, beginning to stalk forward quietly. Remembering her mentor's words beforehand, she lifted her tail off of the surface of the tree. Capturing the appearance of her prey, she nodded, sizing everything up. I believe it's a crow.. Decent-sized? Perhaps medium.. It seems to be off guard.. I'm positive I can catch it. The she-cat only thought in amusement how one of her first catches would be her favorite prey. Stalking forward, the she-cat realized it was slightly higher than her level and only flicked her ear. I should be making a plan before I act. The tree branches are sturdy, so it should hold me. The bird is higher up, and.. Her thoughts trailed off as she thought of the perfect plan as of now. Another small nod came from Sweetpaw, and she looked around once more to make sure her plan should work. I would have to make the chance of bursting through the leaves to catch it.. Internally sighing, the calico had nodded before crawling forwards, mindful of her steps. Approaching the bird, Sweetpaw had looked at it through the bundles of leaves, her hind wiggling just a bit. A small, steady breath quietly escaped her, and the apprentice make her final decision. Sweetpaw swiftly stroke inwards after the bird. The female's sudden movement had caused the sound of leaves rustling to erupt to the party's ears. As she reached the crow, Sweetpaw swiped her paw forward, managing to hit the bird's head and trap in it between her. Before it could croak, she delivered a final blow to the center of its neck, feeling the body go limp almost instantly in between her jaws.
With a small hum in triumph, Sweetpaw jumped back into the clearing on the tree, allowing the senior apprentice and the mentors see her and her catch that dangled in between her jaws. It looked odd though; the crow hanging from the jaws of the small calico. Shyly, the molly let her fluffy tail stand high, and she looked to Crowpaw, her smile covered due to prey in her mouth. However, you could see it in her pale brown eyes that she was happy she managed to capture the crow. Looking down, she looked to Blizzardstar, her tail now swaying side-to-side high, and Sweetpaw tilted her head slightly.

The apprentice could hardly breath as he stood in silence watching Frostpaw struggling on the ground gasping for air. "What if she broke her legs? What if she can never become a warrior?" his fears hounded at him, causing the tom to shake. It seemed like every time she was with him he got her into some sort of trouble and it was hard not to put the blame of this event on their friendly competition. Nothing made sense to Spiderpaw as he looked at his friend with complete horror and sadness.
"Leopardcloud has to know!" Spiderpaw exclaimed, slightly agitated she would suggest that, the energy finally returning to his body and bringing him back to reality, "You're not okay Frostpaw," he shook his head, staring at her hind paw. Why wouldn't she want help? "If she can't become a warrior then so won't I," the tom decided to himself. Seeing her strong will to becoming a warrior even if it meant struggling through secret pain made Spiderpaw all the more sure that he would do anything he had to to see her through to her warrior ceremony, together, with his help - but he did still need to tell somebody.

She walked towards the female, her head tipping a bit. "Applefrost," she began, slumping over into a sitting position. Despite barely showing, the new kittens swarming in her belly were weighing her down. Juniperleap knitted her brows in concern, her tail wrapping around her hind left leg. "Keep an eye on this one, okay?" she asked, motioning to her belly and not saying anything afterwards. She got to her paws before she backed up, nudging the ginger tom with her head. "We can go rest by the nursery," she purred, rubbing her head up under the male. The expecting she looked towards Luka, nodding her head at him. She wasn't too worried; Mudfur and Applefrost were good warriors and knew how to take care of things. Juniperleap tuned and began padding towards the nursery, her tail sliding under her mate's chin.
