b l i z z a r d s t a r & a p p l e f r o s t f o r e s t When they made it to camp, the she-cat looked around for two possible guards. She groaned, noticing that there weren't many warriors left in camp. "I'll be even more late if I can't pass the tom off!" she thought to herself, agitated. Her hackles rose as she stalked down the slopes, motioning for the two cats behind her to follow. Her blue eyes scanned the camp once more, noting who was there still. She may have to ask Applefrost to look after him. She could at least keep him occupied. Before she could get the words out, her aunt spoke up. "Blizzardstar, I can watch him. You have to go meet up with the trainees, right? I'm sure I can explain to someone here what's going on!" the tortoiseshell happily offered. She bounded closer to Luka, wanting to introduce herself. "Apologies for not introducing myself, we were close to the border and I was busy making sure you weren't going to run off. I'm Applefrost, obviously a warrior here in SkyClan." Her apple green eyes sparkled as she looked at Luka. Her soft tone was genuine and her cheery expression made Blizzardstar feel more at ease. Stopping just before the warriors den, the two she-cats turned to each other. Applefrost blocked the path back up to the forest, while Blizzardstar blocked the path to camp. "You're sure you can handle him? I don't want him running off, not until we know he's not a threat." she meowed, shooting a glare at Luka. Applefrost meerly sighed and leaned her head to the right. She closed her eyes for a moment and let out a small snort. Uh oh, Blizzardstar hit a nerve. Another moment passed before she responded. "I'm sure our friend won't do anything. Besides, I keep Ashenthroat in check and I'm almost the size of an apprentice." the she-cat responded in an eerily cheery voice. The SkyClan leader hesitantly nodded. Applefrost was small, but when she sparred, she could be fast and deadly. Her sweet attitude wasn't necessarily a facade, no she was sweet, but she wanted order and peace and if she had to claw some pelts off a few cats to obtain that, she would. The SkyClan took in a breath to shake off the feeling Applefrost gave. She swiveled her head to Luka, put her tail on his shoulder and nodded as if she was silently wishing him luck. "Don't anger her, trust me." Blizzardstar mewed before excusing herself and going back up the slope. She disappeared not long after, leaving Luka alone with Applefrost. She motioned him to go on, her eyes still shining bright. "I think I see Mudfur down there, let's go greet him, huh?" the small warrior purred.

"The best way to hunt a rabbit is to remain downwind. They will be able to smell you before they see you. Mind where you step, as even the slightest of sounds will alert the rabbit to your presence." Crowpaw answered, throwing a glare to the younger apprentices. "The best way to hunt a mouse is to remain balanced and step lightly. They can feel your steps on the earth before you can ever get close." she added, sitting down and looking about the group while giving a small yawn.

a d a y a n d m o r e ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 ; anybody ; ᵏᵉˢᵗʳᵉˡ j u n i p e r l e a p Just as the sun was reaching its peak of the day, Juniperleap lifted herself to her paws as she emerged from the den she had been resting in. Her fawn hued pelt shimmered a bit, her sleek frame showing a bit of weight gain, but she put it off to the plentiful amount of prey she had been snacking on. The copper-eyed lass let her gaze flicker across the ravine-like camp, obviously searching for the one tom she had adored since she was an apprentice. Stumpy tail raised, the warrior let her small paws carry her through the camp, occasionally tripping over nothing here and there. Her head raised, squinting her eyes a bit. She sat near the entrance of the camp, waiting for Cardinalwing to either return home, or emerge from one of the many dens. h o l l y f l i g h t A harsh grunt escaped from the grumpy feline, his lemon eyes squinted as he stared through the terrain. He sat silently in the Sandy Gorge, ears flattened against his head. He could hear so many things at once, an that was quite an adventure for the lanky tom. Letting an enormous sigh leave his throat, the male let his feet carry him back towards camp. He emerged into the camp, glancing to and fro for cats that might try to talk to him. The feline slunk across the ground, heading towards a shady space to hide from others. h a i l s t e p The Siamese feline perked up as he heard Heronfeather's familiar voice. His bright eyes widened as he spotted the feline, his ears flicking a bit as he watched the silhouette of the two. Hailstep got to his short legs before he waddled towards the middle of camp, passing Hollyflight on the way. He nodded shyly before glancing back towards the strong feline. His ears heated up as he scurried away, trying to scamper out of the camp but nearly failing due to his short legs and faulty eyes. He mumbled softly to himself, sighing. "Hailstep, why can't you just talk to him? It's not like he'll kill you or anything." he cursed towards himself, shaking his head softly. His plumy tail flicked to and fro, sniffing the air for some prey or something to keep his mind off of the brilliantly hued tom.

->>----- Boulderpaw -----<<- Boulderpaw let out a little squeal and jumped to his paws. "Can we please start, Amberstone. My paws are itching for something to do!" He could hardly stand still at this point. He had been standing around for what seemed moons, waiting to show off his hunting skills. How hard could it be? After all, all you do if catch the food before it runs away. As long as you killed it, it didn't matter, right? The rest of the apprentices were either hunting no, or having a nice conversation with the other apprentices, and Boulderpaw was eager to show off.

The mentor only sighed softly. The real question was, was he listening to what Crowpaw had said? "Boulderpaw, are you listening to this?" She hummed softly, an odd glare in her eyes. She was being playful, but she still wanted him to listen. They will get to the assignment soon enough. But first, Amberstone wanted Boulderpaw to be respectful. With a hushed tone, the mentor spoke. "Have patience, little one. I want you to listen, okay? We'll get to hunting soon enough."
& A relieved huff escaped from Sweetpaw as she noticed Foxpaw fluff up. A small purr rumbled in her throat as she crouched comfortably next to the senior apprentice. She had mewed a hushed 'thank you' before taking notice to Crowpaw stepping forward. With a small nod, she took that as knowledge she already knew. Sweetpaw really wished Blizzardstar were here. It would have been much more fun. Perhaps the leader would've taken notice Sweetpaw interacting, and being the friendly cat she is. Nervously, she gulped. She shouldn't hide behind Foxpaw, but shook the thought away and continued to crouch against him. With a small hum, the she-cat flicked her tail, "Hey Foxpaw, when do you think we would start the training?"

Luka
The journey back to camp was one filled with frustration for the small tom. His poor eyesight and lack of familiarity with his surroundings caused their pace to be slower than what he felt that Blizzardstar and Applefrost would've liked, though he supposed this was a way to get back at the clan cats for holding him hostage. Luka hissed to himself as his paws snagged in another bramble, causing him to awkwardly fumble. He quickly freed himself, hastening his pace a bit to catch up with her. His injured paw protested the weight applied to it, but he ignored the throbbing pain, not wanting to get berated by Blizzardstar for being too slow.
Once they entered camp and the two she-cats began to talk, Luka finally allowed himself to stop and rest, letting out a soft sigh. He turned his attention to his aching paw, washing the spot where the thorn had pierced the bottom of his foot with careful licks. The pain was still apparent, but it was bearable. The young tom snorted in response to Blizzardstar's ominous warning, watching as the silvery leader disappeared past the slope. The other she-cat that had been with them remained, and he growled lowly as she pressed for him to move. All Luka wanted to do was curl up and sleep for an eternity; he had no wish to talk to any of the other flea-ridden wild cats. But he didn't have the energy to protest, and he wordlessly got to his paws and glared at the seemingly-happy she-cat, waiting for her to lead.

Foxpaw
Foxpaw, only a moon younger than Crowpaw, simply twitched his ears at her sweeping glare. Her response was well-said, and sure to be helpful for the newer apprentices to take in mind. Sweetpaw still behind him, Foxpaw turned to glance at her as she murmured his name. "Maybe we should wait a little longer for our mentors," he suggested in a quiet tone of voice, releasing a sleepy yawn as well. "Since Blizzardstar was the one who changed the training, I'm sure she'll be here soon." Though his voice was reassuring, he wasn't entirely sure what his own mentor was up to. It would be fine, either way- he could just assist the younger apprentices in their training.

{Training Hollow & 𝚌𝚊𝚛'𝚊'𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚗}
Dovespeck slowly padded into the training hollow, keeping her ears perked as she heard the voice of a Crowpaw instructing the other apprentices how to properly hunt. She stiffeled a little laugh to herself, the though of having another apprentice show other apprentices how to train while their mentors were right there just seemed a little odd to her. She shrugged it off, seeing it was Blizzardstar's orders. As she joined the other cats, she lightly touched Foxpaws back with her tail, alerting the young apprentice of her appearance. She had been out early that morning on some errands, and she had been slightly late to the training. By the looks of it, they had just recently started, so she hadn't missed much. She let out a low purr and dipped her head slightly as she sat down next to her apprentice.

Marigoldheart &&. Aspenfur
At Sorrelecho's silent gesture, he saw his golden companion's eyes brighten even further. With a shake of his head in a display of subtle exasperation, he nudged the slightly taller male. As he'd said before, as far as energy levels went, the tom was a subject of fascination. It was a wonder how Aspenfur never seemed to become genuinely weary or exhausted - at least, how it never unraveled externally in the presence of another individual, anyway. He couldn't remember a time when he'd ever been hostile, either.
"Sorry if he's being a bit of a nuisance," he said with a glance over at his quiet, calico clanmate. Hopefully their sudden presence hadn't startled her or made her feel any discomfort. "A nuisance! Marigoldheart, you've wounded me." With melodramatic flair, Aspenfur rested his paw on himself, as if he were indicating false hurt. Which, almost a hundred percent, he was; it was evident by the mischievous twinkle in his green eyes. "Yes, yes, of course," answered Marigoldheart with a small, affectionate roll of his eyes before he headed towards the entrance of the camp.
Regarding their current patrol, he was certain that they would sate their quota. He was aware that Sorrelecho was an exceptionally talented hunter and that Aspenfur was proficient at accomplishing the tasks that were given to him, despite the bumbling impression he seemed to leave in his trail. Glancing over his shoulder in the direction of the training hollow once more, he inhaled a small breath before finally taking a step out of the camp's perimeters. Hopefully, they'd return with enough prey. With the season rapidly shifting and the leaves of the branches changing, it would only be a matter of time before the land around them become barren once again.
The longing gaze of the stoic, midnight-furred warrior hadn't gone unnoticed by Aspenfur, who'd slowed his pace to match that of Sorrelecho. His compassionate green orbs, however, rested on Marigoldheart, who walked ahead of them with an air of imperturbable tranquility. "Wouldn't you say there's a side of him that still feels like an apprentice?" he mused with gentle amusement.
"Are you talking about yourself?" Meowed Marigoldheart in front of them without turning around.
"I'm not like an apprentice," he said while puffing out his chest, though he soon retracted quickly and gingerly glanced over at Sorrelecho. "Am I?"

“So,” said a familiar voice, which seemed to indicate subtle amusement, “why don’t you just go and talk to him? I don’t think he’ll bite. Actually, he’s rather nice from what I’ve garnered.” Standing at a respectful distance apart from Hailstep was none other than Heronfeather who remained languid as usual, unfazed by the bustling world around him. During his conversation with Honeydapple, it hadn’t taken him very long to notice someone’s gaze trailing over in his direction a few times, ergo piquing his curiosity. So now, here he stood, outside of the camp in the presence of Hailstep with his head slightly tipped to the side and a twinge of mild curiosity flickering past his mischievous green eyes. “I can help if you’re out here to hunt,” he then said, gesturing at the vast, changing forest around them with a flick of his tail.

If there was one word he could describe today, it would be cacophony. Blinking his tired amber eyes, Nightwhisper allowed his gaze to travel over his current environment, which consisted of a great amount of noise. With the training hollow so active and the rest of the warriors within the camp so lively, there was bound to be a heap of sound. He didn’t necessarily mind it too much, though - or, at least, he was trying not to. Exhaling a small sigh, he shook himself as fully awake as he could before he glanced around, only to spot a familiar feathery, silver grey pelt nearby. “Morning,” he greeted Patridgehop, flicking his ear once as the sound of a loud voice from afar reached him. Though sunlight streamed into the camp and illuminated his dark fur, there was an undeniable chill in the air, causing his tail to poof subconsciously. It would most likely become frigid soon enough, with Leafbare approaching them so quickly. He wasn't certain if there was any cat looking forward to the short days of low temperature and long nights.

{Training Hollow, 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】}
Boulderpaw silenced himself almost immediately, not realizing what Crowpaw was saying had actually been important. He turned his head to look at Crow as she described how to hunt a mouse. As she finished her statement, he snorted, his arrogance permeating the air. "Any mouse-brained cat can catch a rabbit." He huffed, looking at Amberstone. "Now can we start?" Let out a little meow of frustration, turning to look at the cats around him. {My apologies for the short post >.< I'm in the middle of making buffalo Chicken dip for the super-bowl party tomorrow}

Sorrelecho
Content with simply observing the two toms interact, she trailed behind them without a word. They seemed to be close, with their friendly bickering and all, and it was endearing to watch. I wish I had someone I could feel comfortable around, she thought bleakly with a small sigh. Though she wished that she was less reticent, simply wishing was never enough to just change. Cats didn't change overnight; they needed a catalyst, the support of the ones dear to them. Yes, Sorrelecho was well aware of this. Perhaps knowing how to change, and being unable to change herself, was what bothered her more than the idea of what she had missed out on.
Marigoldheart's voice shook her from her dismal thoughts, and she blinked at him with a bewildered look, having completely zoned out from the two's conversation. She then turned her perplexed gaze onto Aspenfur, and grew even more confused. She hadn't noticed the other tom had slowed his pace to walk with her, and her fur grew hot with embarrassment at the realization. Too close, she thought, but kept the complaint of his proximity internal. Sorrelecho would have to get used to his closeness now that she was in his interest; the golden tom was notorious for his extroverted personality.
Thankfully, Sorrelecho had caught Aspenfur's question, and she swallowed nervously. It would be odd to not respond to a direct question, but talking was just.. hard. She had always had a hard time finding her words when it came to casual conversation, unsure of what to say. The calico was horribly worried of sounding mouse-brained, a result of being picked on when she was an apprentice. So she looked at him for a moment, her blue-and-amber gaze bouncing nervously from him to Marigoldheart, before finally responding. "I don't think you're like an apprentice," she murmured, her voice soft and self-effacing. Her reply was a bit awkward due to the time it took her to respond, but the fact that Sorrelecho responded at all was near miraculous.

His ears flicked softly as he turned his head, his bright blue eyes focusing on the brown fur of the tom. "Oh, uh.." he stammered, flustering and feeling his ears heat up. "I'd love the help," he said softly, smiling a bit and flicking his plumy tail. He blinked at him, clearing his throat a bit. "Uh, well. Marigoldheart &&. Aspenfur
The span of time it had taken for her to respond didn’t bother Marigoldheart, and it certainly didn’t seem to have bothered Aspenfur, either. In fact, her answer only seemed to have inflated the golden tom’s gusto as he puffed out his chest and said, “See? I’m the epitome of maturity, and I’ve got Sorrelecho to back me up.” Even as he spoke with his modulated voice, flourishing in the more subtle dramatics, he saw the golden tom ever so gently rest his tail reassuringly on Sorrelecho’s shoulder before moving a pawstep away. But, much to his own mirth, Aspenfur continued to walk parallel to the other feline, as if he was subconsciously refusing to move ahead to match pace with that of his own; in other words, he never left her behind. It was a trait and habit of the warm tom that had allowed them to first befriend one another. And now, here he was a few moons later, watching the very same gesture take place.
“The leap of logic you’ve got there is something, all right,” he simply retorted as he pried his eyes away from his two companions and continued to weave his way through the forest that was slowly wearing down from the stinging wind. There were many rusted leaves strewn across the vast, uneven floor of the forest, and he was careful to keep his pawsteps as quiet as possible so that little to no sound emanated from his movements. From what he could tell, he was aware that no noticeable prey lingered nearby, though it didn’t stop him from remaining fully alert for any signs of their whereabouts.
- It was true that he didn’t mind the gap of time it had taken for Sorrelecho to speak, but he did pay attention to the way how self-effacing her voice sounded, and to this, he could feel a twinge of concern unwind in his chest. Oh, you silly, he silently scolded himself when he realized that he was standing in very close proximity to the other mottled warrior, so naturally and so habitually. He wanted to be considerate of Sorrelecho; though they hadn’t shared too many words in the past, she was kind, and the least he could do was make her feel as comfortable as possible in the midst of two loud toms. Well, actually, one loud tom: himself. Having someone as vigorous as himself so closely before a session of hunting was most likely the last thing the she wanted or needed; what if she had a headache? Marigoldheart always grumbled about having one.
“The leap of logic you’ve got there is something, all right,” he heard from ahead, breaking him out of his reverie, to which he couldn’t keep himself from smiling, just a little. “Marigoldheart, you’re starting to sound a lot like Nightwhisper,” he called, which seemed to elicit an incredulous huff from the midnight-furred tom.
“Sorrelecho, feel free to push Aspenfur off a tree if the chance arises.”
“That’s exactly what makes you sound like him.”
“Oh, be quiet.”

If he had eyebrows, he was certain he would’ve quirked one of them in response to the warrior’s stammering. In that vein, he would’ve been lying if he said that at the moment, Hailstep was not the definition of endearing. “Hm?” He hummed with a small twinkle in his mischievous green eyes upon hearing the shy warrior’s following words. Heronfeather wasn’t going to admit it out loud, but perhaps his gaze had softened in response, just a bit. “I don’t mind. In fact, I’d say we’d make a good team, wouldn't you say?” After glancing out at the vast forest and sniffing the air, he indicated a particular section of the forest with the tip of his tail. "It seems like a few others have gone out before us... Should we go that way?" He suggested, undoubtedly content with whichever direction they chose to go.

Shaking her head, Amberstone looked towards Boulderpaw. A warm smile on her face, "Well," The mentor started. Amberstone had waited a few moments before nodding. "I believe soon. Give it time, Boulderpaw."
&
A small nod occurred from Sweetpaw. However, the thumping in her chest began to accelerate as she thought about her mentor attending. Her paws twitched with excitement of the possible outcomes of Blizzardstar's reaction.
All her delightful thoughts of Blizzardstar came to an end immediately. Taking full notice to Dovespeck, the molly couldn't help but nervously shrink. Slightly, she scooted away from the comfort of Foxpaw and into the open of the Training Hollow. An evident gloomy smile pasted onto her small features. With a flick of her striped tail, the she-cat sat up. An uneasy look swirled onto her as she began to rise. However, shaking off the thought, Sweetpaw began to paw at the floor. It was best if she let apprentice and mentor sit together. At least, that's what she believed.

b l i z z a r d s t a r training hollow Blizzardstar stopped several badger-lengths away from the training hollow. She panted, trying to catch her breath as she had dashed here after she was out of Applefrost and Luka's sight. She had managed to hear the last bit of Crowpaw's statement. She rolled her eyes and raised her head to see above the thorn bush she was hiding under. She saw Bumblesting, Brambleheart, Dovespeck, and a few other mentors gathered with their apprentices. Part of her was greatly pleased that they hadn't gotten onto hunting, but another was irritated, as going over hunting would be needed for her "stalk like prey" battle plan. She padded around, spotting her apprentice, Sweetpaw. Sneaking up on her, Blizzardstar added onto Crowpaw's statement. "Also be aware of your tail. Swishing it around will also alert prey to your position." she spoke. She nodded a greeting to the other mentors and looked at her apprentice with soft eyes. "Excuse my absence, Sweetpaw. I'll tell you later about what happened." she whispered in Sweetpaw's ear, giving an excited look.
b r a m b l e h e a r t training hollow Brambleheart cleared his throat and nodded at Crowpaw and his leader, Blizzardstar. "Let's talk about hunting birds and squirrels. They'll be in the trees most likely, can anyone besides Crowpaw answer how to effectively catch a bird or squirrel?" the tom asked, scanning the group. His green eyes seemed desperate, as Blizzardstar joining the group made him nervous. "Why did I take over? I'm such a mousebrain!"

Hearing the leader's voice cause her to jolt upwards. Turning around, a broad smile had lit up her face. Taking notice to her words, she nodded, slightly embarrassed. Of course, the calico had to take it as a mental note. Sweetpaw wiggled slightly with exhilaration.
"Hi Blizzardstar," The apprentice murmured. She was anxious to see what was going on, why Blizzardstar was absent. However, it was only reasonable. With bright eyes, the she-cat blinked, whispering back, "Of course! I'm so ready to hear it. You're okay though, right? Nothing bad?"

b l i z z a r d s t a r training hollow She shook her head. "Nothing bad really happened. I'm just rather.. aggravated at some recent developments. I'll be alright." she mewed, then turned her head to Brambleheart. Blizzardstar felt uneasy. Lately she hadn't had much time with Sweetpaw, hindering her training. She wasn't sure if Sweetpaw had learned this and she wasn't going to force her apprentice to answer. Sweetpaw deserved better than being embarrassed like that. She could sense Brambleheart getting nervous and decided to take control of the situation. "I appreciate the small quiz, Brambleheart. However, maybe it's best to test it over regurgitating information. Good practice makes perfect. Let's go ahead and pair up the apprentices and mentors. Boulderpaw and Amberstone can go with Badgerpaw and Brambleheart. Crowpaw and Bumblesting can go with me and Sweetpaw. Brackenpaw and Marshclaw with Dovespeck and Foxpaw. Why about Frostpaw and Leopardcloud go with Spiderpaw and Silverwisp?" the leader suggested.

c a r d i n a l w i n g c a m p The tom was padding back to camp from a nice and quiet solo hunt. The sun peeked through the gaps in the trees, raining sunlight down into the autumn forest. The ginger warrior enjoyed the sights and scents. Though the occasional whiff of mouse or vole enticed him, he needed to carry back his catches before a fox got to them. The slopes of the camp came into view and surely would warm his pads that walked on cool, crisp leaves that had fallen from the trees. He hurried onward, eager to settle into a nest as he was up guarding the camp last night. When he turned to travel down the smooth stone paths, he spotted his mate at the entrance. His amber eyes warmed and resisted the urge to dash down to meet her. When he finally climbed down to meet her, he gave a nudge in greeting and a hearty purr rumbled low in his throat. He placed his catch on the ground and pushed it towards her. "Are you hungry?" he asked.

"Oh? I'm sorry to hear.. I hope everything works out." Although that was her reply, Sweetpaw was relieved. She didn't need to pressure Blizzardstar with asking anything else. Sweetpaw steadily blinked in acknowledgement.
Hearing her next words stunned her. Already? Looking over to Amberstone she had caught the moment of the cream tabby nodding to Blizzardstar, and Sweetpaw couldn't help but smile lightly.
"Crowpaw and Bumblesting can go with me and Sweetpaw. Brackenpaw and Marshclaw with Dovespeck and Foxpaw..." The authority figure's words had echoed in her mind. She was a little saddened that the older apprentice wouldn't be paired with her mentor, but rather, decided to ignore it. She took a liking to Foxpaw, he seemed nice. The female turned to her superior, admiration in her pale eyes. She was anxious to get started, but held it in. "We're starting?"

She knew she needed to tell the handsome tom about her buns in the oven, but the nerves were too much. Juniperleap's thoughts were soon interrupted by the smell of her beloved. Her copper gaze brightened as she heard his paw steps, jumping to her paws to look at him. She rubbed against him, her eyes closing as she purred gently. His gruff voice filled her ears as she looked down at the catch he got. She sat down and a smile tugged at her features. "Thank you," she purred, her glossy fur fluffing a bit. "I actually need to tell you something." Once again, Juniperleap's nerves ramped up, her heart thudding against her chest. h a i l s t e p The Siamese chuckled a bit, nodding his head a bit before he looked down at his paws. "I, sure," he said softly, his ears warming more than before. His pale blue gaze flickered towards the left before he sniffed, noticing the smell of a previous hunting party. He blinked before looking the opposite direction. "Let's go over this way," Hailstep spoke, glancing at the taller male. He trotted down the other direction, his long, plumy tail swaying to and fro. "So, what's your favorite prey?" he asked, head tipping to the side.

Foxpaw
Foxpaw regarded his mentor's with a low, rumbling purr, flicking his tail in greeting as the she-cat settled down next to him. "Hello, Dovespeck," he mewed with warm green eyes. He had been expecting her arrival, and was glad that she had shown up so that he could get constructive criticism from his mentor in order to better his own technique.
Taking notice of Sweetpaw's inching away, he turned his head to her in perplexity. He wasn't sure if he had done something to make her uncomfortable again, though the additional arrival of Blizzardstar shook the young tom from his thoughts, as well as apparently shaking Sweetpaw of her own troubled thoughts. He was happy for her; she seemed relieved that her mentor had shown up, and he couldn't help but let out another soft purr.
He listened to Blizzardstar's words with respectful silence, still watching the leader and her apprentice. After hearing their groupings, he was truthfully a little disappointed that he hadn't been paired with the calico apprentice; he felt as though he was getting to know her a little better, and was interested in watching her training progress. Foxpaw sighed, but supposed that he could try to become friends with Brackenpaw to the best of his ability as well.
