WHY CAN'T YOU UPDATE THIS MUCH ON A REGULAR BAS-

So, I did say that a surprise would be coming to y'all this December. And I was actually serious.
Among the many updates I plan on doing: Curse (3 new chapters already), Where is Darkmoon? (one new chapter thus far), Darkmoon's Battle School (next part almost finished) and Of Gods & Fire (I got plans?) I am also working on some NEW(ish) projects that have been waiting FAR TOO LONG for their turn in the spotlight/under Shadow's crooked fingers.
As a gift to you all this lovely holiday season I bring to you: A Tale of Snow.
A Tale of Snow is a short novel following the life of Snow (that super sneaky antagonist type character I threw under your noses during recent Curse chapters) and the events leading up to her role in Curse and beyond. NO YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ CURSE. I'm not doing that to new potential readers who see Curse as...well a cursed read because its so FUDGING LONG.
This will expand the world of my series and also give readers a special look into the rogues BEFORE Snow took over and made them into clan conquering machines.
BUT WAIT
THERE'S MORE
YOU get to vote on whether I share the CAT version or the HUMAN version.
THAT'S RIGHT.
CATS OR HUMANS.
AND CLANS OF THE VALLEY/FATE OF FIRE NONSENSE
IT IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER
A Tale of Snow cat version will have the usual characters we have seen in CotV novels and will ignore/avoid human version plot lines and characters.
A Tale of SNow human version will have a more detailed look into the ORIGINAL world (my baby and creations) and include NEVER BEFORE SEEN character plots and interactions!
My writing for the human version should also feel/read more detailed/complex as well.
Anyways, please vote in the poll and let me know which version you would prefer to read! And please don't ask me my preference, because I really don't have one. x'D I have been dying to work on this story in both cat and human form.
A Tale of Snow will have the following enticing elements for you book addicts out there:
- LGBTQ+ couples
- Murder
- Magic (Cats or Humans covered in fire basically)
- Mystery (sunken ruins anybody? Hieroglyphs? CLUES)
- Arena styled fights
- The Darkmoon cameo
- More Murder
- The Power of Friendship (and really sharp weapons)
- Anti-Hero? Anti-Villain?
- A female NOT needing a romantic tie to get her into a power position (I see this all the time in YA fantasy its ANNOYING)
- Political strategy games
- Even more murder
I think I got the major points covered.
This is as much a dark origin tale as it is a growing up tale about a very young character thrust into a new world she finally feels she belongs in. So stay tuned! I will probably announce the results this Friday the 22nd on Discord! (and here)
