I like Lizardpaw's warrior name, it's so unique!
Mmm he did assume. Though I don't think he did it intentionally, since it seems to me that he is more action than talking, and may jump into things quicker than most. I also get the feeling that he goes with the flow too, even reluctantly when death happens.
Wonder if Ravenpaw will say something?

I do enjoy the unique names myself, but even though I'm the one who wrote it, it seems unjust to give the tom such a dark name. It's almost like when Bluestar gave Brightheart the name of Lostface, in a way. But, we will just have to see how things go. Ravenpaw sure got herself into quite the pickle, as well, like always  |

Well as a gardener and mama of trees the word blight has a very negative connotation so it is like Thornstar is insulting his new warrior and insinuating he is a blight on his Clan.

When it used to be 'Blackapple' I always liked to think because of his nasty nature. The OC himself is pretty cruel and aggressive, and I liked the idea of portraying him as sort of a 'rotten apple' without straight up making that his name. I also liked how unique the name sounded, since 'apple' really never is used as a suffix and hardly a prefix.

Yeah, 'apple' is pretty good with things. When I think of cat's name, I always get a picture in my head to represent that name. Going with that, something like Applestorm sounds pretty funny XD

Maybe I will use it in a later story of some sort, as a reference. I love putting little easter egg references in my stories from past ones. I will also insert friends names on occasion in a way. Hehehe.

Here's a little spoiler for a couple, should you choose to look. Mintstar is named after Mintedstar/fur, the one who really made me enjoy writing by reading everything I posted and always encouraging me. Enough thanks can truly never be given.
Lizardblight is half maine coone thanks to his mother, made this way because of Phantomstar, another fellow author who helped me improve my writing and enjoy it.
Darkapple is a callback to Blackapple, from the very first fanfic I ever wrote here, The Path less Traveled. He was a character in there, too, and still not a very nice one either.
Badgerpaw is based off another Badgerpaw, our not-so-lovable tom from What is the Sound of Peace? |
