(I’m so sorry I couldn’t respond! My keyboard broke and I couldn’t tell anybody. ;-; )
Nightleaf immediately rushed out of the medicine den, a mouthful of Goosegrass in her mouth. ‘Go inside and grab some cobwebs!’ She exclaimed telepathically to Willowpaw. ‘Then show me to where the injured cat is! Now!’ She shouted orders to the apprentice. Nightleaf didn’t ever want to make a cat die on her paws again. The guilt that had come with it was unbearable. This time it would be different.
Spottedpaw’s amber eyes widened with excitement and fear. Robinstar sounded so worried, and said something about Nettlefly’s patrol. She nodded to Robinstar, words stuck in her throat. Something bad was happening! She knew it. Would she be able to defend her clan fiercely, or die trying? She finally managed to find the words that were caught in her throat. “What’s going on?” She asked.

||Cats will return to camp soon. I feel like it's more realistic to have them meet up somewhere. Lakepond, perhaps?|| » NETTLEFLYNettlefly grimaced in pain. He was not unscathed, and Robinstar's patrol had not yet arrived. He struggled to get a grip on the leader's mind. Fox-dung! Why does Robinstar always block his mind? Finally, he managed. Slightly irritated, he recited his message. " Robinstar, I think you need to come. We've chased off the foxes, but we've got several injured cats. Some too wounded to walk all the way back to camp. Orchidbloom... she's back. I think you've got to see the situation for yourself. Meet us at the Lakepond, and bring Nightleaf with you." He stood up, to give out more orders. "Looks like Robinstar isn't coming yet. Breezewhisker, Duskpaw, ... Orchidbloom. Get to the Lakepond, and wait there for Nightleaf and Robinstar. Willowpaw, would you mind helping carry our prey back to camp? I'll come with you." Nettlefly padded toward the hole he dug earlier, and pulled out the prey. His gaze flickered from the white mouse to the water vole to the rabbit he caught himself. He beckoned Willowpaw forward, and nodded. Glancing back at Breezewhisker, Duskpaw, and Orchidbloom, he dipped his head again. "Our medicine cat will be waiting at Lakepond. Go." @negatorri -bluestorm- » ROBINSTAR"Fox attack", he whispered to Spottedpaw. For a brief moment, his mind felt like it was being invaded. Robinstar felt Nettlefly's message enter his mind. His fur stood on end and his expression was full of surprise. His shocked countenance quickly morphed to one of annoyance and disbelief. Orchidbloom had returned, along with a pack of foxes. Rufflefur had wandered off. Order had to return to the clan. "Ashfeather, Eaglestrike, Flaxtrill," he called out without using his telepathy. "Track down Rufflefur and bring her back to the camp. Make sure she stays here. Nightleaf, Cherrywhisper, Spottedpaw. We're meeting Nettlefly's patrol at Lakepond." The leader tried to figure out what he will say when they arrive. @negatorri -bluestorm- @sapphire646 ashfeather

Ashfeather flicked her tail in slight annoyance, her eyes narrowing slightly. What type of cat decides to run off while still injured? On that note, what cat purposely jumps into the Heart Rush for a swim? She obeyed Robinstar's orders though, getting to her feet - luckily she had just finished the squirrel she had been eating.
Eaglestrike had been quietly observing the camp from the moment Willowpaw had burst back into camp, wondering if he could be of service. He had been laying quietly next to his sister, but at Robinstar's words got quickly to his feet. Be safe. he said telepathically to his sister, knowing she wouldn't block him out, before he quickly joined Ashfeather and Flaxtrill.
Cherrywhisper got hesitantly to her feet, giving her brother a quick smile. She padded over to Robinstar, tilting her head slightly in curiosity, "Has something happened?" she asked quietly, her voice full of worry.

Spottedpaw’s turned to Cherrywhisper, her eyes had a mist of fear swirling in it. “A fox attack!” She exclaimed to Cherrywhisper. Before she could say anything else to the calico she-cat, Spottedpaw raced off into the direction of Lakepond, not bothered if the leader were to scold her fo running off before he could say so. Her fear for her clanmates was overwhelming. What if they had been killed? She shook her mind from any negative thoughts.

DUSKPAW:
At Nettlefly’s command, Duskpaw stood up slowly. His shock and adrenaline had worn off, and his cornucopia of wounds started to sting and burn and ache. Lakepond. It sounded serene compared to slaughtergrounds he currently inhabited. While following Breezewhisker and Orchidbloom, Duskpaw decided to attempt to lighten the mood a little bit: “Send the three cats with a limp to the same place, eh? Nice one, Robinstar.”
ORCHIDBLOOM:
The she-cat winced in pain as she led the two BloomClan cats towards Lakepond. Duskpaw’s attempt at humor made her smile a bit, though.
How much longer could she really spend in the wild alone? No cat was made for that. In that moment, Orchidbloom resented ever taking some principled stand and abandoning all she knew. Her friends. Her son. This is it, she thought. I’ve been given a way to correct my mistakes. Optimistically, she purred to herself as she limped toward salvation, the blood in her wounds a disgusting burgundy.
As the band approached the clear, fresh-looking Lakepond, Orchidbloom readied herself for the confrontation with her old foe, Robinstar. She wouldn't be rude, and she wouldn't insult his leadership. It was hard to imagine that at one point, the cats had been close friends and young warriors together. The issues that had once separated them were abundant, ranging from arguments about mentorship choices to everyday clan law. And then, one day, Orchidbloom was fed up. Rather than bicker any longer, she had left, leaving behind a mere shell of a warrior.
This time would be different, she told herself. She looked back at the two injured cats with her. For the first time in a while, she felt like a part of something.

She ran out of camp and tried to retrace her steps from where she had been. "Lakepond. We're supposed to meet them there." Willowpaw reminded herself with a few whispers. She ran in that direction and just hoped that the medicine cat would follow. There they were! She rushed over to the three cats that she saw. The medicine cat is here to treat your wounds. She quietly used telepathy to convey the message that they were here. The air of Lakepond comforted her and seemed to feel freshening. (No big deal!)

DUSKPAW: The sight of Nightleaf and Willowpaw brought a welcome calm to Duskpaw. Along with Breezewhisker and Orchidbloom, he had arrived at Lakepond. The water had a wonderful, natural smell to it, which rose above the blood and mud and tickled his nose. He spoke aloud to Nightleaf, preparing for relief from his pain. “It’s been a long day for us.” He felt more like a warrior than he had ever felt. ORCHIDBLOOM: Though her wounds were by far worse than the others, Orchidbloom waited behind Duskpaw and Breezewhisker. She was, as she would have never have admitted, extremely nervous to see Robinstar. Where was he? The anticipation seemed to make her wounds sting more. This was sure to be an unpleasant talk. ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐ @negatorri @sapphire646

Willowpaw caught Duskpaw’s expectant gaze, and even with the nearly suffocating bundle of cobwebs in her mouth her eyes glimmered slightly. It was good to feel so useful. She padded forward and deposited the bundle of cobwebs, then turning to Nightleaf and nudging them over to the medicine cat. Willowpaw supposed her useful moment was over, but felt good while it happened. Awkwardly standing there made her feel slightly embarrassed and she soon decided to start to shuffle away.

» ROBINSTAR
Robinstar turned to face Cherrywhisper as he answered her question. "Several foxes staged an attack... Orchidbloom has returned. " He pondered what he'd say when he arrives at Lakepond. Orchidbloom had been gone for moons, and she had departed on less than friendly terms. He wondered what what happen there. He had changed. Older and wiser, he was not the mouse-brained, inexperienced leader from the past.
Quietly, he strode out of camp, beckoning for Cherrywhisper to follow. Nightleaf and Spottedpaw were already gone, and Robinstar tried to conceal a slight tinge of annoyance. He hoped they were okay, but knew that they were more sensible than Rufflefur. His petals swayed in the light breeze as he sauntered at the banks of the Heart Rush, careful not to fall in. Leading the way to Lakepond, he felt nervous, for a talk was inevitable.
» NETTLEFLY
"It was me," Nettlefly offered, slightly offended. "There are healing herbs there at Lakepond." He grasped the mouse and rabbit in his jaws, and tucked the water vole under his chin. Staggering under the awkwardness of carrying three pieces of prey, he made his way to Lakepond. Setting the prey down away from the water's edge, he joined his clanmates and waited for Robinstar and whoever else he sent.

ORCHIDBLOOM: Across Lakepond, Orchidbloom noticed a rustling in the leaves. Part of her feared more foxes, but she could feel his presence as he arrived. She could faintly make out a cat with red-brown spots. Robinstar. She stayed with Duskpaw, Nightleaf, Willowpaw, and Breezewhisker so that Robinstar would have to come to her. As the leader approached, Orchidbloom gave prepared herself for the final time. When he was within speaking distance, Orchidbloom spoke. “Robinstar. It’s been too long.” ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐

Fear shone in Cherrywhisper's eyes at the mention of foxes, followed by surprise and confusion at the mention of Orchidbloom. Orchidbloom... That name rings a bell... she thought to herself, trying to pinpoint a memory that would indicate where she knew the name from. And then it hit her: wasn't Orchidbloom the she-cat who had left the clan after countless disagreements with Robinstar? Why would she come back?
Shaking herself from her thoughts, she quietly followed Robinstar, keeping herself slightly behind him as he lead the way out of both respect and apprenhension; how Spottedpaw could run straight to the battleground like that she didn't know, and she prayed the foxes were all but gone by now. Before long, she could see they were approaching the injured cats with thankfully no fox in sight. The scents of Lakepond calmed her slightly, and she steeled herself for what was to come, awaiting Robinstar's orders patiently, although she was also itching to help the injured; mingled in with the calming and natural scents of water was the unmistakeable smell of blood.

Whilst Robinstar and his backup convened with the injured cats at Lakepond, Ashfeather, Eaglestrike and Flaxtrill slowly made their way out of camp. Eaglestrike instinctively took the lead, tracking Rufflefur's scent. He didn't understand why she would rush out of camp like that while still injured. She wasn't doing anyone a favour, she wasn't helping at all - in fact, she was doing the clan a disservice. Cats were having to be sent after her to collect her as if she was a foolish apprentice that had run off, cats that could be put to better use elsewhere.
Pausing for a second, Eaglestrike closed his eyes, planning to put his abilities to use. He searched for Rufflefur's mind and, once he felt he had a grip on it, delivered a message that he hoped, but doubted, she would listen to, Rufflefur, stop what you're doing. You're not helping anyone. He figured that she definitely wouldn't listen to some long-winded lecture, so kept the message short but stern.

» RUFFLEFUR
The mottled she cat clutched the opposite side of the riverbank as she hauled herself up. Fresh water dripped from her dusky fur as she glanced back in the direction of the camp. The Riverblossom swished teasingly behind her as she shook out her sodden pelt. Suddenly, she felt an irritating presence at the back of her head. Robinstar sent a patrol to follow me? Oh my StarClan, seriously? Rufflefur spun around to face the placid river and the patrol that would soon come.
"I did it!" Rufflefur crowed as she puffed out her chest. "I made it across the Riverblossom, injured and all. I can take on anything. Just wait for some foxes to come get me, and you'll see me kick their dung riddled pelts!" Flicking her tail teasingly, the warrior blithely ignored Eaglestrike's message and hopped on, following the scent trails of Robinstar, and Cherrywhisper.
» FLAXTRILL
"Well that was worth a shot," Flaxtrill exclaimed to Eaglestrike. "Although I think she just ignored you. Looks like she swam across the Riverblossom, not too far from Lakepond. Lakepond. How in StarClan did she get that far-" The brown she cat realized that she may have been speaking too much, and promptly shut her mouth.
» ROBINSTAR
"It has," Robinstar responded coolly. He felt himself tense up as he approached Orchidbloom. "What are you doing near the heart of BloomClan territory, eight moons after you left? You chose to leave."

ORCHIDBLOOM: She had expected a rough beginning, but, for some reason, Orchidbloom was still taken aback at Robinstar’s words. Maybe because they helped her realize she had been in the wrong when she abandoned the clan. Maybe. Without thinking, words began to flow from the she-cat’s mouth like the streams that flowed into Lakepond. “I was attacked by foxes. Two of the largest I’ve ever seen.” She turned so that Robinstar could see the huge red-pink gash on the right side of her pelt. It reeked badly as badly as it stung. “Listen. I was wrong all those moons ago. I was acting as if your choices were also mine. I was selfish... I was wrong.” She paused, biting her tongue. Between the pain of her wound and the pain of her wounds, she thought she would faint. She met his gaze, and noticing how on edge he was, tried to relax a bit. It was to no avail. The rest of the cats had gathered around them, watching and listening silently. Duskpaw, being treated, stared at her. ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐

Ashfeather rolled her eyes, tempted to put a vision in Rufflefur's head the first chance she got of some of the possible consequences of her actions. It was as if she thought she was invincible when in reality, she was just plain stupid. "She's stubborn enough to think she can do anything." Ashfeather replied to Flaxtrill, irritation grating her voice, her tail thrashing. Leaf-bare was approaching and they needed to be restocking the fresh-kill pile. But no. Instead, here she was out looking for a good-for-nothing she-cat who thought that Bloomstar herself had blessed her with all the abilities in the world. She let out a small hiss in annoyance, her claws instinctively sliding out of her paws before she forced them in again.
Carefully, Ashfeather followed Rufflefur's scent to the other side of the river, disliking the cold feel of the water on her fur, particularly when the wind blew against her and sapped away all her heat. She had a good mind to teach Rufflefur a lesson or two when she saw her - or even better, a stray fox could find teach her something instead.
--
Eaglestrike followed Ashfeather's lead, not minding the brief swim across the Riverblossom. He could sense Ashfeather's irritation, and honestly couldn't blame her; he knew himself to be quite a calm and collected cat, but Rufflefur seemed to rub even the politest cat the wrong way. He only hoped that Ashfeather wouldn't take out her quick temper on Flaxtrill. He knew the young warrior meant well - she was a good cat at heart - but her constant optimism and incessant chatter was sure to cause a reaction from Ashfeather sooner or later.
--
Cherrywhisper watched Robinstar and Orchidbloom's conversation quietly, feeling for Orchidbloom's position despite what she had done. She knew that it couldn't have been an easy decision to leave the clan, and Cherrywhisper was sure that she was sorry for it now, taking her words at heart. But she didn't move, staying slightly behind Robinstar; she didn't want to disobey her leader and accept Orchidbloom into the clan again without his approval. But she could see the wounds covering each of the cats there, with Orchidbloom suffering the worst, and her paws itched to help the cats.

Nightleaf :Nightleaf rushed to the first injured cat she saw : Duskpaw. She rushed over to the apprentice, scanning his body if there were any major injuries. She sighed in relief when there wasn’t anything serious, but the dozen of cuts and scratches on his leg had made her concerned. She pressed cobwebs on his cuts silently, too concentrated to say anything. ( -bluestorm- , do you think that it would be suitable for Nightleaf and Orchidbloom to recognise each other, since they’re about the same age as each other? Or do you prefer that they don’t?) Spottedpaw :Spottedpaw could finally smell the scent of Lakepond rushing up to her nose. She spotted Robinstar and Cherrywhisper already there, which suprised her. ‘How did they manage to reach here first? Probably because they’re faster than me. No thanks to my clumsy legs!’ She thought, scolding her legs. She padded towards Nettlefly. Before she could offer him her help, she saw an unfamiliar cat who Robinstar was talking to. She wanted to ask one of the cats who this mysterious cat was but she shook it off. Now wasn’t the time for asking bothersome questions! “How can I help?” Spottedpaw asked Nettlefly. ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐

( @sapphire646 right now, Orchidbloom and Robinstar are having their big confrontation while the rest of the cats sort of watch/are treated. Sorry to bother you, but could you replace Orchidbloom with Duskpaw in your post? He was also pretty badly hurt in the fox fight.
And yeah, it makes sense they would know each other if they’re similarly aged. They were part of the same clan, after all. Thanks for asking!)

Willowpaw just watched on as she saw Orchidbloom confront Robinstar. She shuffled over to Nightleaf with a slightly apologetic gaze. If you need any help I can... I don’t really have anything to do so... Erm... If you ever need me... Her message went through telepathically so the medicine cat didn’t have to worry about hearing it out loud. She carefully but awkwardly stepped back and decided to continue to watch the two cats talk to one another, though still waiting for an answer from Nightleaf. It was bad enough to never be useful and catch nothing on a hunting patrol. Trying to shake the thoughts of that from her mind Willowpaw thought about Robinstar and Orchidbloom talking. It was good that they didn’t seem too hostile...

» FLAXTRILL"True," Flaxtrill whispered to Ashfeather. "Rufflefur, she's not helping anyone." The pale she cat meekly followed the rest of the patrol across the Riverblossom, wincing where the cold water lapped around her muzzle. She struggled to keep her head above water with her small frame; making it across with a pelt completely saturated in water. No, she wouldn't want to do it again. Especially not at the deepest length of the river. There were stepping stones further upstream for a reason, but Rufflefur just had to avoid them.
ashfeather» RUFFLEFURFollowing the scent traces, the dusky brown she cat slowly made her way to Lakepond. Rufflefur was sure that Robinstar and his entourage were meeting there, along with those injured in the fox attack. Her curiosity was overwhelming, every whisker determined to find out what was going on. Rufflefur delicately hopped the rest of the way to Lakepond, resuming a regular stride when she approached the gathering cats."Hello!" The she cat called out, oblivious to the serious conversations taking place. "Any foxes for me to fight?"» NETTLEFLY"I don't know," Nettlefly answered politely. "I think it's best not to interfere with the moment being." Suddenly the pale brown tom spotted Rufflefur. Nettlefly had no idea how she made it all the way to Lakepond, but it wasn't time to ask. Now, he meant to cease her disrespectful talking. He grasped Rufflefur's mind, gripping her in a tight Hold. He was going to regret this later."Sorry Spottedpaw," he relented in a hushed whisper. "Can't talk with this mouse brained she cat stuck in my head."@sapphire646» ROBINSTARRobinstar slightly recoiled at the sight of Orchidbloom's wound, but he managed to quickly recompose himself.

Breezewhisker whipped around and saw a familiar face. “Ah, Rufflefur! Too late for you. We fought all the foxes.” A glimmer of pride sparked in his eyes and despite his aching limbs he managed to puff of his chest. “Those two are talking about something. Orchidbloom and Robinstar. Everyone’s all serious. Remember Orchidbloom? She left eight moons ago.” He added, casting a sideward glance to the crowd of cats observing the extremely awkward conversation. “I thought you were confined to camp. You’re such a disobedient warrior, Rufflefur.” Breezewhisker let out a little laugh and just seemed to be teasing, but his tone didn’t take a reprimanding turn at all.

ORCHIDBLOOM: Robinstar was more reasonable than she remembered. Orchidbloom noticed that his overall demeanor had improved in some inexplicable way. Perhaps he was more attractive, too. “I wasn’t planning on coming back. I was coming back from the woods towards the Skypoint Mountains...” Orchidbloom’s steady tone lowered into a hushed rasp. “There’s bad things out there. StarClan only knows— and it’s worse than foxes, let me tell you that. Th-they must have followed me from that way.” Orchidbloom shuddered. The thought of other predators that could be lurking closer and closer deeply unsettled her. Orchidbloom swallowed her remaining ounce of pride, some small voice in her head which begged her not to submit to Robinstar. She closed her eyes and crushed the voice. “Something terrible is brewing... I’m worried for us, and I’m worried for the forest. I’d like to rejoin BloomClan, and provided you don’t have one, I’d like to be your deputy.” ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐DUSKPAW: Duskpaw stared at the brown she-cat in utter disbelief. He wasn’t alone. He looked around at his clanmates and friends. Most of BloomClan stood there, watching the tense conversation in almost complete silence. Had Orchidbloom actually asked to rejoin the clan she’d abandoned, and THEN asked to be made deputy? For a moment, Duskpaw felt deep confusion before something clicked in his mind. Orchidbloom was a natural warrior. She carried herself like a fearsome cat, even after a fox attack. And if she was actually scared enough by what she’d seen to want to ask for such a position, then it had to be serious.

Ashfeather muttered something incoherent under her breath, her ice-blue eyes still narrowed in annoyance. Her damp fur clung to her sides, making her look skinnier than usual, and the frequent wind sent chills down her spine. She despised Rufflefur for dragging her out here, for causing her to look like a drowned rat, and as they reached the small group of cats gathered at Lakepond she rolled her eyes. Of course Rufflefur had already beat them there - what was the point of sending them out to find her in the first place? Robinstar could deal with her now. She was too caught up in her annoyance towards Rufflefur that she failed to recognise the unfamiliar cat talking to Robinstar.
--
Eaglestrike slowed his pace as they approached the group of cats, bringing the patrol to a halt. His eyes immediately focused on his sister, letting out a small sigh of relief that she was safe - the foxes must have already been chased off by the others, for she was uninjured. And then his green eyes flicked over to the newcomer with the strangely familiar face. Was that... it couldn't be... Was that Orchidbloom? What was she doing here?
--
Cherrywhisper's eyes widened in surprise, her gaze flickering to Robinstar, to Orchidbloom, and then back to Robinstar again. Did she really just ask what she thought she had asked? Joining the clan was one thing but becoming deputy? Cherrywhisper knew she was a capable warrior, she could remember that much, but she had abandoned the clan for eight moons.

Nightleaf :‘ Thank you for helping Willowpaw.’ Nightleaf thanked the apprentice telepathically. ‘ I’ll inform you if I need your help.’ She said. She removed the cobwebs from Duskpaw’s cuts to apply goosegrass poultice onto his wounds. “Can you move your leg?” She asked the apprentice. Before she could say more, she heard the voice of the familiar cat, asking if they could be deputy. Nightleaf whipped around to see Orchidbloom. ‘What in the name of Starclan?’ She thought. Willowpaw nodded curtly to Nightleaf, then turning to the conversation and moving through the crowd to get a better look. She could still only hear tidbits of the conversation but Orchidbloom’s voice sounded rather ominous. After Orchidbloom stopped speaking, Willowpaw stifled a gasp. Deputy? Robinstar would never let a cat that was gone for eight moons become deputy almost instantly. She tried to think of reasons why Orchidbloom would ask this immediately. Was she trying to infiltrate the clan? Did she have bad motives behind this? Or was she just trying to help her clan after seeing the horrors beyond clan territory? Willowpaw narrowed her eyes with thought. Orchidbloom must be a formidable warrior. What she had seen must be worthy of telling to the clan. This could be bad...

» RUFFLEFUR
The dusky brown warrior tried to speak to Breezewhisker, but she was trapped in the mind of Nettlefly. Resorting to psychic abilities, she communicated her thoughts.
"I got out. It wasn't that hard." Then she noticed Robinstar talking to... Orchidbloom? That's weird, she left BloomClan seasons back. What's she doing here? Must be something exciting.
» FLAXTRILL
Irritated but still rather upbeat, Flaxtrill arrived at Lakepond. She settled down next to Rufflefur, despite differences they shared. She couldn't understand the overconfident warrior's ignorance or stupidity, but she did wonder the same. Her eyes landed on Robinstar and Orchidbloom and she focused on their words. Only when dark brown she cat spoke, was she bewildered.
Terrible things? Deputy? Why? Flaxtrill shivered slightly, thinking about her kin Paleflax and all those who'd gone with her. That's what must have gotten them and driven the foxes out of Woodtremble. Darkness is coming...
» ROBINSTAR
||Cat number 2 and cat number 3 still need to be named. Of course Robinstar wouldn't let Orchidbloom become deputy right away, but it wouldn't be too long.||
"This danger you speak of, Orchidbloom. I can assure you it's very real, and it killed Paleflax, ||cat number 2||, and ||cat number 3|| not long after you left. The evil that resides beyond the trees of Woodtemble has been growing- stronger and stronger with each sunrise. I don't know if I can trust you, but for now I will let you back into the clan."
Robinstar wasn't sure if he made the right decision, but he knew that something had to be done. Deep down he still cared for the warrior and he had, all this time. The predators only sent mere chills up his spine. There had to be some underlying cause. It wouldn't be long before he was to visit the Spirit Bloom.
