"Mission: 113476 Participant(s): The Huntress Status: Completed Objective: Interception of lamb for protective purposes People in Question: 4 Participant(s) Status: Okay Description: Lambs posed little problems. Huntress had no problem securing mission objective.
2017/12/10."
Yvette stared at the paper in her hands while sipping a cup of hot chocolate ("extra milk," she'd requested from the barista), contemplating last week's mission. She'd been asked to kill four contacts from her agency's black list. Four people who foolishly sold the agency's confidential information to the highest bidder. "Stupid of them," she muttered under her breath, taking another sip of hot chocolate to calm her frazzled nerves. Today, she'd have track down and kill the people with her agency's information. "Another day gone to waste," she growled. It could be weeks before she'd find an actual job that ended in payment. Her agency had promised her a reward at the end of the task, of course, but such a reward couldn't compare to the riches of people who dwelled in the Black Market. Crumpling the paper in her hands, Yvette stuffed the file into front pocket of her jeans (lest someone steal the paper from her), and finished up hot chocolate. Leaving the empty cup on the counter, she made her way for the cafe's exit. "New day, new blood." She repeated to herself.

Levi ran a hand through his thick black hair as he walked out the door of the agency. It had been a long night and he'd slept there, deciding it was too late to return home. The young spy had just returned from a mission overseas and he was now running out for his first American breakfast in months. Of course, it would consist of only coffee and muffin. He would be up for a good old McDonalds breakfast but decided that would be too hard on his stomach. He'd never done well with their food, even if it tasted good.
He stopped at the nearest gas station for a muffin (the coffee shop charged way too much) and stuck it in the pocket of his sweatshirt as he exited the building with a friendly wave at the cashier. What? He worked hard to be a likable man. He was a natural leader. He was also a big target most of the time, the youngest son in a prominent spy family. But he didn't care. He just worked a little more carefully than the average spy.
When he reached the counter, he ordered his usual cappuccino and smiled as he gave the cashier a tip. "Have a great day," he said to the woman, giving her a smirk as she shook her head. She knew Levi by name, though she thought his name was actually Mason. He tended to not give out his real name.
The young man accepted his drink and sipped it as he made his way towards the exit. He saw a girl making her way towards it and rushed ahead of her to hold it open, a smile on his face.

Just as Yvette was about to grab the door's handle, it was yanked away from her grasp, opening the door and nearly knocking her over in the process. Recovering quickly, (thanks to her fast reflexes) the girl straightened herself up to glare at the one who made her lose her balance. "I can handle myself," she said rather stiffly. The fool; if there was anyone who was least likely to be in a position of vulnerability, it would be her. Upon entry to the café, Yvette had already identified six different alternate escape routes other than the doors and assessed everyone for probable weaknesses, should the need arise to kill any of them. An assassin is never caught off guard, her mentor's voice echoed through her head. We prepare for any and every possible scenario because it's no game out there in the field. It's a simple matter of life and death. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Yvette turned away from the boy, annoyed at herself getting distracted from the task at hand. Letting out a huff of indignation, the girl walked through the exit without looking back.

Levi had nowhere to be for a few hours and he didn't really want to go home and visit Micah when his older brother was likely with his girlfriend at the moment. So Levi, being the slightly obnoxious young man he was, sipped at his cappuccino and followed the girl out.
"I never said you couldn't handle yourself," he pointed out with a frown. "I'm just being a good dude. Chivalry. Manners. Holding the door open. My mom taught me well." Of course, his mom also taught him two languages and how to kill a man in many different ways, but he didn't see the need to share that. All it would do is draw suspicion to himself.
"I'm Mason," Levi said, sticking his hand out to her. Mason had almost taken on his own life in the years. He had an ID with the fake name and a whole history. Mason had just spent the past few months with his wife in Hawaii. Levi had actually been in another country working on some classified mission.
"So, what are you planning to do?" Levi asked, taking a bite from his muffin. He then sipped his drink and finished his muffin. He tossed the wrapper into a garbage can and sipped his cappuccino slower.

Yvette didn't bother turning around to answer the question of her over-enthusiastic tailee. However, she couldn't possibly work with him following in her wake. Deciding the best way to get rid of someone as talkative as he was, she stayed quietly indifferent to his presence. Pretending he did not exist and was not introducing himself or asking her a barrage of annoying questions. "If you were really polite," she muttered under her breath. "You'd have asked what my name was by now." Guessing he was of the upper class society (which, frankly, did not bode will with Yvette), she stalked away, purposefully heading to a place that was known as the darker side of town. Tossing back her black curls, as if daring him to follow her, she felt herself smirk as she confidently wove through the crowd. Even now, her brain was working, making constant notes and observations to file away for later use. If he persists on following me, she thought to herself. I can always kill him.

Levi heard her comment about asking her name and found himself smirking. "Yeah, but it's also common courtesy that when someone introduces themselves and sticks out a hand, you shake it and say your own name. Therefore, it wasn't exactly considered rude that I didn't ask your name. But if that's what you want to hear, then why don't you tell me your name?" he suggested.
Levi didn't even blink as he followed her into the bad part of town. Yeah, he hadn't grown up there or anything, but he knew he could handle anything that the street punks threw at him. As they walked, he had three different weapons concealed on his body and he was constantly observing his surroundings without being obvious about it. He'd even took down details of this girl.
Levi moved to walk next to her, only half a step behind so he could follow her lead. "So, hitting up the fun part of town?" he asked with a smirk. "I've gotten into a couple nasty fights down here, but nothing I couldn't handle," he told her. "Yeah, i was always that kid getting into too many fights." Actually, Levi Helm had been a top student at the spy academy he had grown up. But Mason Livingston had been a bit of a delinquent and had often served detentions as the result of fights.

Yvette couldn't help but laugh at Mason's arrogant attitude. "Right," she said, recovering from her fit of amused giggles. "You're the stereotypical bad boy who grew up on the rough side of town, lived with an alcoholic or drug addict parent yet has impeccable manners, taught to you by your mother you claim, and is a real player by the looks of it." Her words were laced with a bitter sarcasm. She eyed him, up and down, taking in how incredibly ill-fitted his clothes were to his "I'm-Such-A-Tough-Guy" image. Rolling her eyes, Yvette seriously considered killing him, or knocking him out. He was definitely annoying enough for it.
Deciding not to act brashly, she purposefully separated herself from the crowd. If she wanted to commit any acts of violence against him, she'd have to do so in secrecy. "Let's see if stereotypical bad guy is as tough as he says he is," she said. A sly grin was already forming at her lips.

Levi shrugged. "Not too far off." He had actually practically grown up at the academy and his summers were spent wherever he and Micah could stay when his parents were off on missions. "I wouldn't exactly call myself a bad boy, but I was pretty rough as a kid." He didn't elaborate on anything, but he kept an eye on the girl. She seemed harmless, but he'd learned to not underestimate anyone. It was one of the first things he'd learned in school. He could look as harmless as possible, so why couldn't she?
"And I haven't heard that name yet?" he pointed out with a raised eyebrow. "Isn't that the basis of a friendship?" he laughed. "I wasted no time telling you my name."
Levi smirked. "No problem," he said with a laugh. "I can handle any problem you throw my way." This was more amusing than he'd hoped. She could ambush him with five of the biggest thugs in this city and he'd have them all knocked out before dusting off his clothes and heading back to the agency.

"Friendship?" Yvette scoffed at his delusional thinking. "Whoever said we were friends? You are literally the guy who almost knocked my over at a café and decided to apologize by following me around town with your banter. We met not even twenty minutes ago!" Yvette narrowed her dark brown eyes as she stalked towards a dark alleyway. One she had travelled before on numerous occasions when she had jobs in the town. Abruptly, she stopped and whipped around, to face her follower. "Now, if you don't mind, I have business to attend to."
In the brief time she'd observed him for, Yvette had already gathered enough information for it to be of use in a fight. She was confident in her abilities to best him. Quickly pivoting to his left side, Yvette aimed a blow at his temple.
(Can she defeat him so that she can go to meet up with her agency's representative in this town? x'D Her patience is running thin. Also, Levi will know she's not an average person.)
