About This Roleplay
โง This is a roleplay of the original four Clans (ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan) where the twolegs didn't decide to destroy the forest and the Clans weren't forced to move. Everything up until that point remains the same, so it starts with all the canon characters from the beginning of Midnight; however, in this roleplay, the characters will live out their lives as they would have had the prophecy never occured. Thus, this roleplay is claim-a-cat, and mainly involves canon characters (though some extras were added to RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan to make their populations comparable to ThunderClan's which, obviously, has the most canon cats). If you don't want to play a canon character, you can always create a rogue, kittypet, or other non-Clan cat that interacts with them and may or may not end up joining one of the Clans (however, I will limit rogues/loners joining Clans as that is a rare event in canon. You may interact with them as a third party as much as you want, though).
About This Page
โง This page is for discussing and planning things in regards to the New Prophecy AU roleplay. This includes things related to the overarching plot of the entire roleplay, the individual Clan plots, and character plots. Of course, you don't just have to plan here- you may also just discuss anything in regards to the roleplay, whether that just be facts or headcanons about your characters, things that have happened, or anything that relates, really. Please keep off-topic discussion to a minimal level; I won't discourage it entirely, but I do want this page to be overwhelmingly about the rp and not about other things. Obviously, follow forum rules of discussion, and don't plan anything that is against forum or roleplay rules.

Main Plots
โง The current idea for the main plot is that it will involve the return of BloodClan. Essentially, a cat who was a part of the original BloodClan as risen to power and is attempting to restore BloodClan to its former glory. They are again wreaking terror upon twolegplace, but the leader knows that to truly surpass Scourge, they must conquer the forest. Within the Clans- namely, RiverClan and ShadowClan- there are a few kits who are half-BloodClan. The BloodClan leader attempts to identify and contact these kits- now apprentices- and convince them that BloodClan is where their loyalties truly lie, using them to sabotage and spy on the Clans.
(The half-BloodClan cats are: Reedheart and Ripplefur of RiverClan; Pinepetal, Talonpaw, and Smokepaw of ShadowClan.)
โง Meanwhile, Tigerstar- as always- has his own agenda even from within the Dark Forest. Cats are being trained here, and when he discovers through some of the apprentices that BloodClan has returned, he knows that this may be his chance for revenge. The question is, which side does he support? BloodClan, or the forest? Who does he hate more? Or, will he find a way to end both of them?

As of now, each member has three days to return and lay claim to their characters. If they haven't returned by then, their characters will be reopened for claiming. After claiming a character, each member has two days (in addition to the day of claiming) to make at least one roleplay post for every three characters they have claimed, in their corresponding Clans (ie someone with 6 characters, three in ThunderClan and three in WindClan, can't just make two ThunderClan posts- they need a ThunderClan and WindClan post), whether these be starters or replies to roleplays that have already begun. If they haven't done that, they will either forfeit all their characters, or any number beyond those they have accounted for in their posts.
Meanwhile, if you have characters claimed but know for sure you have no interest in continuing, I would be grateful if you would let me know rather than just letting the three days expire, that way I can reopen your characters in a timely fashion.
If we're gonna try to revive this roleplay, let's be [please keep language appropriate] serious about lmao.

Yay! I'm here and I'm eager to roleplay!! And I'm reclaiming all my cats too (Leafpaw, Ferncloud, Feathertail, Shellpaw, Russetfur, Runningnose, Finchtail, and Ashfoot) and I'll reply as soon as I can! If not tomorrow, then Friday, since I won't have to worry about getting any homework done first. I'm so excited and the plot sounds so interesting!!

Yeah I definitely want to encourage people to plan drama and subplots with their characters, whether it parallels the canon or is entirely different (like back on the old forums, me and whoever had rped him were gonna ship Onewhisker and Sunpatch due to some of their early interactions). Pretty much as long as it's not game changing in regards to the course of the Clans or to the established plots you don't need to worry about clearing it with me.

The half-bloodClan cats are going to be Ripplefur and Reedheart of RiverClan, and Pinepetal (who I just added because there wasn't really any good cats for the criteria), Smokepaw, and Talonpaw of ShadowClan. Since this takes place 18 moons after the end of the original series, Smokepaw and Talonpaw are a bit young for this, which means that Nightwing would have had to continue to see their father long after BloodClan was chased out. Either way, she had an affair with a rogue, but it's up to whoever ends up roleplaying her whether or not she actually knew they were former BloodClan. The others (Ripplefur, Reedheart, and Pinepetal) all easily could have been conceived while BloodClan was in the forest.

Another thing: if anyone has ideas for Clan plots specific to each Clan, I'm definitely up for suggestions. I'm also up for suggestions if anyone wants to do stuff with any of my characters XD

I think outside the clans should be rped at the gathering page, so it can be kept kinda active and we don't have even more pages.

Well the Gathering Page is also the border page so it should be active there. My initial intention wasn't to really rp BloodClan all that much, and keep them a sort of "vague external threat".... but if everyone thinks they might be interested in rping BloodClan, we could certainly do a page for them. I will also need to make a StarClan page, as well as Dark Forest, especially if we intend to delve into that can of worms XD
fun fact, in the initial version I had intended to eventually introduce SkyClan and the Tribe of Rushing Water as well, if the rp proved popular. Obviously that never happened, and likely won't, but it is a distant possibility if this does end up successful.
