Alright cool. Also since this rp might eventually lead to some romance, what kind of gender pairing would you like to do? (mxm, mxf, fxf and nonbinary characters also welcome) kind of leaning towards mxm, but we can do whatever.

Alright, cool c: and for age maybe early twenties? And the setting can be modern/present day, but do you want the characters to be in a city or a more rural small town setting?

I think it'd be more fun to have chase scenes in a city, but I also think there'd be a lot of distractions and red herrings there

I think that's pretty much all we need to cover. Do you want to post character descriptions? Or describe in rp?

I'm cool with describing in the rp if you are.

Dakota loved the city, for multiple reasons. Everything you could ever want was all in one place. Every food place and restaurant was amazing. There was always something new that you could do, nothing was ever boring. Not to mention that there are so many people to meet. He could go on and on about how he loved the city, but the reason he loved it so much right now, was because of all the hiding places and easy ways he could loose his pursuer.
This was the first time that he has slipped up in months. He thought no one was around when he shifted but it turns out that a darn hunter managed to spot him. He was doing so well at lying low, and here he was running for his life through the streets. Can't hunters just let him live his life and not try to kill him for once? It's not like he was doing anything bad... Well other than using his ability to shapeshift to steal things, but that was it. Other than that he was good, and doing his best to blend in with everyone else.
At the moment he was in one of the forms that he used quite often, the form of a black house cat. He quickly slipped into the small space between two buildings, that was much too small for a human to fit through, and then ran to crowded street on the other side. There he easily weaved his way between the feet of the many people walking the sidewalk. Hopefully the man chasing him has lost sight of him by now.

There were so many better ways to be spending the morning. For example, Liam hadn't had his coffee yet. That in itself was a crime. He could easily have ignored the shifter- he had been quite clever about it too, if the streets had been anymore crowded, Liam wouldn't have noticed at all. But he did, so he had no choice but to give the chase, really. His hands were tied here. It was his job to track down shifters, was it not? What was the point if he didn't attempt to track down ever shifter that made the mistake of crossing his path. The sad truth was that coffee would have to wait.
The shifter was a cat now, a smart choice, but not the smartest. Cats could squeeze into different places and didn't look out of place, but they were still big enough to be seen, not that fast enough to easily outrun him. Liam had a chance to catch up, even if the cat is darting in between small alleyways. He would have to take the long away around, but all he would have to do is keep an eye out for a black housecat. Luckily, many were out this time of day. So he would just have to keep his eyes peeled.
So he went the long way around, moving as quickly as he could among the throngs of people, shouting apologies to anyone he pushed particularly roughly. Eventually he made it to the other side of the street, but no cat immediately jumped into view. Liam swore quietly, but continued to push his way through the crowd. He couldn't have gotten far.

Dakota continued to weave in-between the feet of the people that were walking the sidewalk. He almost got stepped on a few times, but that happens sometimes when you are a small animal trying to get their way around. He glanced back and laughed slightly to himself, looks like he lost the hunter for now. That was good, now he just needed to get out of here just in case the man happened to spot him again. After this he was going to have to lay low for awhile, now that this darn hunter knows he exits. Hunters always mess up a supernaturals life when they run into them, and it was never in good ways.
He made his way into a much bigger alley than he made his way down before. He took a quick glance around and found a perfect way to get up and out of here. He first jumped up and onto a dumpster which was at a perfect distance that he could jump to the nearby fire-escape with no problems. If he didn't entirely loose the hunter before he was going to loose him now. He then started to ascend the fire-escape and started to make his way to the top of the building.
