Maybe Muse A is sort of a magical being of some sort, but they don’t really realize it. Then strange things start happening like water fountains turn on when they walk by or pens float when they reach for them. (They’d have to have more of a correlation than this I️ suppose) Muse B, their best friend since childhood, notices this stuff happening and reads into it, discovering that a mysterious group is appearing, and has selected Muse A to be their sort of “chosen one”. (I don’t know what for) So Muse B has to choose what to do, and how to help them in any way they are fitting... But the kingdom’s new social and political tension due to an old prejudice against the supernatural (who are slowly appearing) is causing panic throughout the small town, pressing Muse A to hide... or stand up for their society.
