Yellow Flicker Beat / @pinacolada and flamerune
This is another song-inspired RP. (I absolutely adore Lorde.) Muse A is the powerful, cold leader of a country. As a child, they were vibrant and happy. The darling of the country. No one knew it, but their father abused them as a child. Before long, Muse A changed into what they are today: a somewhat cruel leader made of ice. Muse B is a young but powerful noble gaining power. Muse B wants the crown, and to do that, they need to gain the affection of Muse A. So they do, and before long, both are head over heels. But when Muse A finds out Muse B was tricking the, all along, how will they react? And when Muse B realized they actually have affection for Muse A, what will they do?
Muse A:James is a relatively dark man. His hair is jet black. It is also kind of messy, swooping down to cover his left eye. His eyes are a ruby red color. He is somewhat pale. He is also tall, about 6’01”, and weighs in at about 145 lbs. He usually wears nice clothes - black pants, a dress shirt, a suit jacket and a green tie. He usually wears dark gray gloves as well. He also wears a lopsided crown on his head. Underneath the hair covering his left eye is a long, jagged scar, starting at his hair line and ending just below his eye - a momento from his abusive father.

Muse B: James is a relatively dark man. His hair is jet black. It is also kind of messy, swooping down to cover his left eye. His eyes are a ruby red color. He is somewhat pale. He is also tall, about 6’01”, and weighs in at about 145 lbs. He usually wears nice clothes - black pants, a dress shirt, a suit jacket and a green tie. He usually wears dark gray gloves as well. He also wears a lopsided crown on his head. James is calm, cool, and collected - the definition of “tall, dark, and handsome”. He thinks everything through, and rarely acts on impulse. He is not cruel, per say, but he holds no emotion for other humans. A death doesn’t bother him, and he will kill if it helps him in the long run. He trusts absolutely no one, all of his advisors are men ( or women ) that he knows he can kill if they betray him. Beneath his cold armor, however, James can be kind and caring, and even a bit emotional. If he truly gets to know someone, he is loyal to a fault, and would die for them without a second thought. Lucia is nothing if not beautiful. With creamy golden skin that hints at Cerulean (A Middle Eastern type nation) heritage, she has multiple freckles dotting her skin that she doesn't bother to hide like other ladies of the court. She has the darkest brown hair that falls to her elbows in loose waves, and mostly puts it up into an elaborate braid or bun. Her eyes are a luminous, clear hazel with a mostly warm golden-brown pigment that have hints of green in them. In every part of her body there is grace, whether it be in her slender neck or prominent collarbone. She has an angular, natural beauty with high cheekbones and a sharp jawbone that has lost itself on the other ladies of the court. Lucia is quite petite (she's actually very tiny) and lithe, with a lean bit of muscle from constant training- from where she's from, physical and mental strength is very important. She usually wears the beautiful court dresses, but will often start a trend. She will wear minimal makeup; just some liner and mascara to enhance her already piercing eyes and lipstick. She loves jewelry and shoes.
Lucia is one of the smartest people in court, but makes sure to dull her intellectual "light" a smidge for fear of betrayal. Only her allies know how truly manipulative and calculating she is, and she has garnered quite a few allies. She is truly a good person, however, and is doing this for the good of her country. Still, she enjoys outwitting people, and is actually quite a witty, charming person with a tiny streak of sarcasm. This aspect has gotten her through the wiles of court. She has great knowledge of both martial arts and history, and loves to play the piano and harp. It calms her to play a musical instrument. She is a person who loves fiercely but has no one to love save for her little brother. She doesn't follow anyone's rules but her own and she'll be damned if she breaks one of them. She has a huge temper that she often has to bury, and it is quite comical to see her rant at someone much taller than her. Can sometimes be too much of a perfectionist and has problems with being spontaneous. She can be somewhat of a coward. Doesn't trust anyone; she can't afford to.
Setting ... Antegria
Antegria is a technology-driven country, and is mostly associated with trade. It is a very wealthy nation, but is ruled by a cold and somewhat cruel, young king who has just inherited the throne. There are many futuristic and apocalyptic associations in this country, and it is well ahead of its time. (I was thinking a Hunger Games type setting..)
