Hey, so life's finally settled a little. My sister got married, I got sick, and school started up again. Also, I'm in Zine Publishing class this semester which boils down to this: I make short comics for homework. Our current assignment is 16 pages long, so I'm thinking I may do one of the Rocky: Untold Stories for this assignment. I want to do the "How Yossie lost his eye" story because its pretty self contained, but 16 pages may be too short. I'll let you know how it goes. The zine is due in a month. You are all so wonderful and supportive. I don't know when the next update will be done, but I'll keep you guys up to date with any progress. Have an awesome new year! |

News: The zine was not due in a month. It was due in 3 weeks. its a 16 page comic. and i'm dying. It'll be completed by next Tuesday, so I'll probably post it here on the forums next weekend. I've got 12 pages sketched out and 3 pages inked, but guys i'm so tired. I've never had to create so many pages on such a tight timeframe while still worrying about my other classes and work. Heheh. When I first started sketching I thought I'd be doing detailed backgrounds, but AINT NO SPARROW GOT TIME FOR THAT. Excited to share this comic with you guys once its done. I hope you're all doing well.  |

Hey, I hope you don mind be asking, but what year did you start this comic? And what was your inspiration? I began this comic series between 8th and 9th grade (so between middle school and high school). I think that was in 2010. I had tried to start several 'serious' comics in the past, but never got more than a couple pages in. Around that time "****" humor (lol XD so random) was very popular and there were a lot of humor comics being made. On a whim, I decided to make a parody comic with some cats I'd doodled on my notebook because it seemed like a stress free way to do a comic on the forums. As the comic went along, I began to get attached to the characters so much that I wanted to actually write a good story for them. I was longing to made a serious narrative and wanted to redeem myself from the mess that the comic was becoming (As any artist and writer improves, they see more mistakes in their work). Not to mention, my wonderful readers who encouraged me to make more and improve. <3 |

Comic News: Tomorrow I will be posting a thread for the Mini Comic I've been working on, and put up the first few pages! I will post 2 pages a week after that. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and can't wait to show you all. |
