Uh, I don't really know what to say, so I'll just get on with it. The type of story that this is will be revealed overtime, whether that be quickly or not.
---Prologue---
It was moonhigh as a small group of cats sped through the forest. The lead cat, a large golden tabby, came to a stop just as the trees started to disappear along the path. He flicked his tail and the cats behind stopped immediately. He heard no cat make any noise as he strained his ears to listen behind the border of the forest. He could hear a noise far away. The sound of a cat... no, two cats.
"What is it Lionheart?" A smaller gray cat asked, walking up slowly. A brown she-cat cut past him.
"That's a fight isn't it?" She asked. Lionheart shook his head.
"Maybe Mousefur, but... they're not clan cats." He answered. The brown cat exchanged a glance with a yellow cat covered in black stripes next to her.
"Kittypets getting in a fight? Yeah right, it must be rogues! Right Lionheart?" The yellow cat asked their leader. The golden cat looked back at them.
"Never underestimate a cat because of their birth, Longtail. What makes a warrior is the soul that lives in their heart, not to where or whom they're born." Lionheart spook with a deep sense of wisdom. Longtail scoffed. Lionheart called a white tom over to him. "Take Longtail, Mousefur, and Graypaw back to camp Whitestorm, I'll investigate the noise." Whitestorm nodded. He took a step back, but then paused.
"Lionheart." He meowed very quietly. "The direction of the noise... it's not our territory."
Lionheart nodded. "It's twolegplace." Whitestorm continued.
Lionheart stepped right up to Whitestorm's ear, so that what he was about to say could only be heard by him. "That's exactly why I'm going." Whitestorm nodded slowly, and returned to Mousefur and Longtail.
"Alright, we're going back to camp!" He called to them. Mousefur's ear twitched.
"What about Lionheart?" She asked.
Whitestorm meowed after a short moment. "He'll just make sure that those kittypets aren't quarreling on ThunderClan territory." Longtail chuckled to himself.
"If I found them I would make sure they'd never want to wander in the forest again!" He mewed as he unsheathed his claws.
"That's enough Longtail," Whitestorm turned to him. "we aren't out here looking for a fight. Enough distractions, back to home for the night." As the three cats started off, Lionheart looked uncertainly towards twolegplace. He shook off his doubt, and bounded into the fields, towards the looming twoleg nests. He didn't notice his apprentice watching after him, curiosity burning in his eyes.
